Just been watching a garden programme on Biddulph Grange Gardens. It was so funny to watch it after being there last week - really enjoyed it.

It was lovely to see it so soon on the TV FF - although we saw Tulips rather than Dahlias.

Morning all not to bad here was out for a quick stroll and a visit to paper shop for weekly tv mag looking forward to lappy coming all excited feels like christmas lol:j good luck and happy comping everyone:D

Good Morning,

Been wet here and still drizzly looking. DH going to hygienist this morning as he has had a slight infection in his gum. He gets it every so often so she wants to see it. Puts him in a really bad mood so hope she can find a solution to stop it happening! He is usually so placid I get annoyed when he is grumpy which is a bit unfair really.
Just realised it is an uncle's birthday today so will need to go and get him a card. Will be DS2s birthday on 26th too but he is coming back from Highlands on 28th. We will be back on 29th so hopefully see him before he goes to the Lake District again. Think he is building his savings now so will be looking for a permanent job some time soon. Chefs get paid a lot more doing agency work especially as they get paid by the hour.

Hope lappy comes soon rose.

Morning Shiels, hope your DH gets his gum infection sorted - I think the worst things to suffer from are ear ache and tooth/gum ache! I just feel like crying when I suffer!

Lovely morning here - bright and sunny start after the dull afternoon yesterday! Week is whizzing over! I kept thinking it was Monday yesterday though! Hope we are lucky today! Have a great one whatever you are going!

remember I won the £15 gift card,
well, I couldn't get the card to work online so phoned them up on the Freephone helpline,
they explained the gift card can't be used online & it should have been explained to me that it's for in store only :eek:
after some discussion they credited me the £15 online off my shopping this morning :j
& also said because it hadn't been explained to me about
how the gift card worked I can still use the £15 card in store next time
I visit :j
so I've an extra £15 to spend :j:j
