Glad you had a good time away Wingo, sorry your DD2 is now so well today and hope she recovers quickly. DD2/Partner/GD are coming back tomorrow night late.

Sounds like you are busy Rose, enjoy your take away, sounds like you spoil them all just like I do with mine.

The sun has come out firefly and is beautiful. Have had the rabbits and the big tortoise out on the grass for a while. Haven't forgot your pics just been busy with everything. Does your iPad mini have retina display whatever that is? Toying with the idea of getting an ipad before we go on our hols. There are so many it is confusing.

Was hoping to get to the Harrogate Flower Show as I had won tickets I won. Filled all the forms in for it but no tickets have arrived yet. We may not get them in time as my DD1 is checking my mail and was going to post them on to me. Would be a shame to miss it.

We have a nice piece of port tenderloin for tea with some lovely veg.

Haven't even managed to clear my ems yet today yet along start comping.

LOL Wingo, I almost choked on my coffee when I saw your birdie pic! Wonderful! I love it!

Cannot believe how warm it is today - I have my little sun dress on and the kids are in shorts and t-shirts! We have just come back from the beach and it packed with holiday makers and some were even swimming in the sea! Make me feel so happy to see the sun! Yeah!!!

So glad to hear it is sunny where you are all too. Such a shame this is the last day of the hols! My kids are back to school tomorrow!

Hope your DD is better soon wingo. Such a shame after your nice break. The hotel looks nice put my July date in on booking.com and says it is fully booked though. It maybe does good family ratesin school holidays. Been checking my review of the Brid hotel we went to last year and had forgotten how wonderful breakfast was so might try there again anyway. I loved having their smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toasted bagel and not many places do it. (unless you want to pay a fortune)

Just been for a lovely walk by the river. Been best day this year such a shame it is changing tomorrow. DD getting on with her art homework - holiday themed still life. It is really good. I take it it is for her Int 2 Art exam. She only took art as she had a space in her timetable and thought she would take it easy and do Int 1 but they made her do Int 2 which has been hard work.
