Sounds like you are getting another break set up then Sheils. Glad you enjoyed your walk. It has been lovely here as well.
Enjoy your evening everyone.
Just thinking of adding something to our Hartlepool trip Sylvia! Booked 2 nights in Chester for end July yesterday. Had to really check out the options there but got Hol Inn Exp at Racecourse, near centre for £56 including breakfast and parking and a Premier Inn on outskirts for £29. DH used to live there and drive buses there so at least navigating it is easy for him. First night at Premier Inn would have cost £109 and 2nd night at Hol Inn would have been £68 so decided to do 2 separate nights.:)
Going into North Wales probably after that but not booking any more at moment. Have a load of freebies to take with my points sometime too which is great.:DMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Hi Shiels, Sounds like you enjoy planning and booking your trips as much as being on them! I must admit I do too - love reading up reviews and looking at places to visit and of interest! Glad you made the most of the sunshine and had a stroll by the river - such a shame the weather is due to change
Just starting to cloud over here now!
Lovely to hear that you have enjoyed your Easter too Katie! Was it a simnel cake you had? I tried a slice for the first time this year and loved it! I feel I have been missing out all these years! Next year I think I will have a go at making a simnel cake!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

Yes Bella love booking holidays and discussing everything we are hoping to do with DH. Have got to find bargains though to make it better. Love it when we book well in advance and then see the price it would have been if we hadn't booked. Have done it the other way round and booked last minute but usually only works with private hotels. Love playing the system with Priority Club points too
Always see what vouchers we have or can get or use Tesco Tokens if possible. Also have reward cards for everywhere.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Glad you enjoyed your Easter Rose! My kids are back to school tomorrow too so peace shall reign! Seems strange though as they usually don't break up from school until the day before Good Friday!
Not long till the May Day Bank Holiday then Whit Week/half term from the 26th May!

My DD back tomorrow too Bella - but just for 2 weeks as she will have study leave for a month or so. She will need to go in to school an odd day though just before an exam. We won't be away much after this weekend as she wants us here to make sure it isn't raining on exams days and that she doesn't forget dates etc. Have booked one weekend when she doesn't have any exams close.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Just watching the Tommy Cooper thing on tv and just realised its Frank Gallagher from shameless! I love Tommy Cooper but this on tv is annoying! I think it's the voice doing my head in!
Good luck to your DD with her exam SheilsMy DD is taking art in her options but I think it's so she doesn't have to speak much! She hates having to talk in class.
Good luck with the hol plans. I find it stressful packing for a family, not knowing what to take!
Thanks for the info on retina display fire**fly, great find :T I wasnt sure what it was either!
Sylvia, if you do decide on an iPad, I wouldn't say the iPad air was any better than original iPad. Infact DH prefers original.
DD2 is back to her normal noisy self and stopped throwing! I took kids the park earlier to make the most of it before school tomorrow!
Glad you had a good day Katie/Rose
Love the emu Bella!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Thanks wingo - DDs exams start on 30th April and last one is Art on 30th May so we will have a fun month with her! DS finally got his chefs certificate thing through and has pinned it to his wall. He is doing a higher level course now but hates writing!
Glad your DD2 is better now. I am a pretty good packer although I used to write lists all the time when all the family were coming with us.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
