Sunny here again. So nice to waken up to sun
    shining in the window.
DS back to work today and DDs last day of holidays -
panic setting in as she hasn't finished homework and English
Int 2 exam in 10 days!

Glad you had a good time wingo. Was it a hotel you would recommend?
We might be looking for one there- usually got to Brid which we prefer but might think of a change as more to do in Scarborough.
    Hope everyone has a great

Just been down to Tesco to spend some £5 vouchers we got last week - some good offers going off soon so wanted to make sure we got them!
    Needed some meals too.
Was showing 17 on the car! Having a cuppa and then going out to garden in the sunshine.
Did manage to get dailies done earlier and some entries in on the classic hourly - thanks rose. x

just been out and spot sprayed some weeds that are showing through under my living room window. son made a quick visit with wife and grandkids they are going through to Edinburgh to some illusion thing. They are coming back later for dinner which we are having from Indian across the road from me they tried to book a table but couldnt get one before 9pm to late for kids so he has left a takeaway list to be delivered later. so I will have a pile of washing up to put in dishwasher later for my fairy platinum to sort out for savvycircle trial lol. Am going to enjoy peace and quiet before they come back as it is mayhem when kids are here as they love playing in courtyard and are ruined by neighbours who love them. They usually go away with a small fortune in their pockets and about a months supply of sweets.

That sounds nice rose. Great your grandkids get spoiled.
I remember coming home with money and sweets from visits and visitors but doesn't seem to be done the same now.

    Afternoon! ;)
DD2 has woken up with a sick bug again! Hope it's gone by tomorrow for school!

Enjoy your Indian meal rose :)

You just reminded me Bella, the next bank hol is when we're supposed o be getting kitchen fitted so I'm wondering if they've made a mistake with it being a bank hol. I must phone them tomorrow.

Glad you had a nice time last night fire**fly.:) Hope the sun gets out for you.

Is your DD back yet Sylvia? I bet the pets are pining for her & the kids. Jasper stayed at MIL's and he sat waiting near the door most of the time hoping we would return! Now whenever we get our shoes on to go out he thinks we are leaving him! :D

Sheils, I would recommend the headlands where we stayed if you were to stay in Scarbrough. It's in a nice, not too busy location near peasholm park and our room was overlooking a field with a nice view. It was a good price (cheaper if you contact them direct instead of through anywhere) and the room was very clean, comfy beds with Egyptian cotton duvets, tv, wifi, tea & coffee, hair dryer, towels...even shampoo and shower gels in bathroom! The breakfast was good quality food with a range of cereals, fruit, juices, toast & spreads followed by whatever you wanted either full English, scrambled egg, bacon sarnie etc! They also had a bar but we never got chance to go in. It doesn't look like a hotel B&B from front but we've stayed in a few different ones in Scarbrough and I liked that one. :) If you do go you could get the tour bus round corner that does a free return journey!
