Nice to hear from you Amilucky? Glad things are going Ok.

Don't you be eating too many Easter Eggs either Katie! ;):D

That's a great excuse for not cutting the grass Sylvia.

Still nice and sunny here but not as warm. We managed a nice walk so ready for lunch now. DH is making us a bacon omelette.

I thought it was quite a good excuse too. Glad you managed a nice walk. DH has just made me a lovely bacon and egg in toast. Have been busy Spring cleaning the DD's bedroom and off back up soon to clean the GD's. Its hard when they both work long hours to keep up with everything. Hopefully it will all be done by the time they get back on Tuesday night.

GD's bedroom was a little moor challenging :( all sorted though now, nice clean bedding and a good Spring Clean. All clean washing including uniform ready to go back to school next week hanging up. Do teenagers know what coat hangers we made for?
I expect you know what I mean Sheils/Wingo??

Having a nice cuppa now and then to sort out tea as DD's MIL is coming straight from the hospice for tea. Nice gammon in the slow cooker so just the veg to sort out. Going to do a cheese/mushroom pasta bake and some broccoli.

Actually DS has his room tidy Sylvia - shame about DDs! She chucks dirty stuff down right beside the laundry basket and has make-up everywhere.
Would you like to house sit for me when I go away? x

Happy Easter Katie! Love the Lindt bunny :)

Happy Birthday nanto3girls and hope you enjoyed your special day!

Hope you enjoyed your day too FF, Shields and Rose!

Amilucky?, so glad to hear you have settled into your new accomodation and I wish your Alice well :)

Sylvia, your gammon has my mouth watering, even after enjoing the roast lamb dinner we enjoyed out my parents this lunchtime! I often make my own cheese and mushroom pasta bake and sometimes I add bacon too! yummy! I agree with teenagers not knowing what a clothes hanger is but I also believe many men don't either! My ex used to dump his clothes on the poofie in our closet because he knew I would end up hanging them up for him - which I did until he became my ex! My basin lids aren't teenagers yet so I will have all of that to look forward to! I remember when I was a teenager, I did hang up my clothes EXCEPT on a Saturday night when I could never decide what to wear! I would try on loads of dresses and just leave the dresses I chose not to wear in a pile on my bed until the next morning!

image_1-13.jpg Emmm me to a 't' when I was younger!

Yes, rabbits and guinea pigs love dandelions! We used to have a rabbit, named Thumper and a guinea pig, named Pepsi, and they adored dandelion leaves but we had to go to the local farmers field to pick it as my dad was one of those people who took pride in his lawn and kept it short and trimmed around the edges and he also created 'lines' using his lawn mower (like I do when I hoover lol so I must take after him!)

Well had a lovely Easter Sunday. It has been a bit cloudy and cool in the wind from the sea but at least we haven't had rain. This morning I pottered in the garden while the sun was out and then we went to my parents for our lamb dinner followed by a walk along the beach.

LOL at you hoovering the carpet in lines Bella. Just wait until yours are teenagers, you have it all to come. I always remember my Mum and Dad nagging about it until one day I came come and went up to my bedroom and my Dad had hung a piece of string from one side of the room to the other and pegged everything he found on the floor, including my dirty undies on the line. Must admit I though twice after that. Glad you enjoyed your lamb at your parents today.

    Enjoy your spag bol firefly.

Have a lovely evening whatever you are doing.

LOL Sylvia! Yes, I am a bit of a clean'o'holic and every one laughs when they see the lines I make with my hoover! I even move the foot stools and coffee tables so I don't have to hoover in a circle around them and spoil my pattern! I admit I have OCD with regard to dust, grime and crumbs! I don't mind the kids leaving their toys, clothes or shoes out though. maid-smiley-emoticon.gif You should see my garden too - pink flower, blue flower, yellow flower, purple flower, pink flower, blue flower, yellow flower, purple flower, pink flower, blue flower, yellow flower, purple flower...all in lines!
