Glad it has stayed dry for you though. It is still sunny here too. Apparently all this weird weather plays havoc on the roads with cracks appearing everywhere, and when the councils do eventually get round to repair the roads, they seem to takes ages and ages to complete the job!

Hi, the DD has just left. Her partner managed to get rid of my ASK toolbar with a struggle so I am well pleased it was driving me mad. They took us to TGI Friday's and had a lovely meal with them.

Your takaways sound like a good idea firefly/Bella and you pork Sheils.

just had my curry it was yummy. Internet seems to be behaving itself now dont know what was going on this afternoon. but it was driving me nuts on/off every five minutes

It was just a muddy path that has cracks in it Bella - it used to be a nice gravel path before the floods. Love the little digger smiley though.

Didn't realise you still had the Ask Bar Sylvia. Glad you have got rid of it now and had a lovely meal too.

DH loves chicken jalfrezi rose - bit to spicy for me. Glad you enjoyed it.

What take away have you decided on FF? You have been busy on the hourlies. Think I have done them all so far.

DH had me ordering OS maps for next few trips. He is obsessed with having the right maps so hope they come in time. We want to go to Fountains Abbey & Studley Water Garden next week - looks interesting.

Had a nice afternoon - my dad came around with his jet washer and cleaned all my patio down while my mum and I spray painted two of my wooden planting troughs and bird house using the paint I won a few weeks ago. The kids have been good too - they played 'tennis doubles' over the washing line and for once they never had to knock on the neighbour's doors to ask 'can we have our ball back please?' Hee hee!

Oh and I popped to the shop earlier to buy some ice-cream and in the place where the Easter cards display was, they was a huge display of Father's Day cards!!!! Well at least there won't be any more egg hunt comps....get ready for 'Tell us why your father is the best father in the world....' or 'Tell us why your father deserves this Father's Day prize....'

Seems like we've done lots of walking today, from one end of the beach to other in Scarborough which goes on for miles! Son was meant to be resting his legs but hubby decided it was only '5 mins' walk which it wasn't!
Had a good day though apart from the lack of toilets here! There's not many and the ones there is cost 40p to spend a penny! :eek:

That is a long walk wingo - have done it a few times with lots of moans from the kids! Toilets are getting to be a problem everywhere now. Best bets are large supermarkets and shopping arcades.
