Well done on your wins Rose, FF and Jess! yeah!
Cornwall is such a lovely place - enjoy your little break there Jess! FF your tea sounds delicious! I adore fish - we are having salmon with new Jersey potatoes. Wingo - isn't Whitby lovely! So quaint with all the little cobbly paths! Been there many times for a bar meal! Ellemm - Enjoy Crete!! I love the Greek Islands!
Sylvia - hope you enjoy a relaxing evening after all that ironing! At least it is all done before the weekend!
LOL Sylvia at the animal antics!!! I love pets and their personalities!
Our little chihuahua is so little and adorably cute that every one thinks she must be good as gold all day but she can be a little monkey or a madam at times. For example, earlier whilst I was making the dinner, I accidentely dropped the pepper pot on the floor and the lid popped off leaving a little heap of black pepper on the floor. As soon as it happened Honey pricked up her ears and looked at it! So I said to her 'No, you don't want to go and sniff that - NO!' but as soon as I left the kitchen for 30 seconds to fetch the dust pan and brush, she was their with her snout sniffing it before going into a fit of the sneezes for 5 minutes! She was so funny to watch as she ran around in circles trying to wipe her paw across her nose! 'Well you learned your lesson the hard way Honey - I told you not to sniff it!' I said to her and some how I don't think she will do it again lol!
Glad you all had a lovely day! Been a weird sort of day here with the bank holiday - loads of people on the beach with picnics and bbqs! Lots of paddlers in the sea too! In fact it has felt like a Saturday!
Just settling down to a nice glass of rose now:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

Oooooh, not been in for a couple of days and missed lots!
Staying with parents in Cornwall at the moment which is lovely. Went out for lunch with mum and dad on my own, as hubby stayed in bed - he's got a really bad cold that sounds like it's on his chest. He also has chronic sinusitis all the time, and the cold has made that really bad. Hoping he feels better soon
We're celebrating Easter today, as it's Mum's birthday Sunday and wanted to make it special for her. We all exchanged Easter eggs today! :j :j :j
Got a WFBT (winning Facebook tag :rotfl: ) today from Shiseido's Pinterest comp: three lovely items of make-up, worth £76  :j :j :j That brings my total up to £1,200 winnings for the year, and my aim was £2,014 for the full year, so doing very well at the moment. Big, grateful hugs and kisses for the Comping Fairy!! :j :j :j
Sheils - lovely photos again... My Dad's from Wolstanton and was in Biddulph Grange Hospital when he broke his leg as a boy...
Love the story about locking out DS3 - that will teach him to word his texts more clearly :rotfl:
Hope your DH feels better soon Jessicahh. Have only been to Cornwall once and loved it. We stayed at Holywell Bay near Newquay. Hoping to go back in a year or two but it is such a long drive.
Had never heard of Biddulph before but StokieBecks suggested going to it and we had Nat Trust vouchers to spend so gardens were free.
Well done on the win.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Love your dancing Chihuahua pic, Bella - our Astrid sounds exactly the same as Honey... Always thinks she knows best!!
Mum and Dad's Chihuahua, Dennis, is really naughty for going in people's cups - he'll casually walk onto the arm of the sofa, and dip down until he thinks no one can see him, then starts slurping out of their mug on the side table! :rotfl: He always looks shocked when someone tells him off, as though he's got no idea how anyone spotted him!!
Newquay is a fun place to stay, Sheils - but yes, definitely a long drive for you!
F**F - fingers crossed it's one of the higher levels, although all three levels sound like they have some fun things to do!0 -
Ahhh bless you Jess! What a lovely name for your chi 'Astrid'. Honey is a tiny tiny baby - just 2lb at the mo but still a pup. It is so funny though as she barks at my parents HUGE black labrador if he gets too close and he runs of wimpering! Honey always acts so shy when people come to the house but as soon as they leave she runs round and round as if to say ha ha ha I am cute but naughty! I love her to bits! She sleeps with me in my bed too - she is like another baby to me and spoilt rotten !:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

Sounds like everyone is settling down to a glass of wine so now the iron is finished will have a voddie/tonic.
Has Rose gone home now firefly, I bet she keeps you busy.
Have set a bottle aside for Sheils for when we meet up. Will keep the rest for pressies at Christmas.
Sounds like you are have a nice time at the parents Jessica, it does good to get away. Hope you Mom enjoys her birthday on Sunday too.
Oh fish and chips at Whitby Wingo, wonderful, remember having some when we went years ago. Hope sons team wins tomorrow.
LOL at your little honey Bella, they really are funny sometimes. My little Yorkie sleeps with us as well but the Sukie stays on the floor as she is much heavier and hogs too many of the bedclothes.
DH has just come in with my nice voddie so off to drink it before we go to bed.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
