I couldn't/wouldn't keep a nasty dog either sylv :sad:
but maybe it was thinking it was protecting its owner,
my bro's dog is a big softie but once when he was ill & the
ambulance people tried to get to him his dog went barmy
at them :eek: never seen it do it before so was very surprised.

LOL, as long as you dont as me to drink it for you we will be OK. Wouldn't have thought of chilling it for you but of course will do. Was a bit worried it would be in June when we have to come to DD's again as I think I mentioned in a PM. July should be fine will put it in my phone calender now.

Just waiting for DD to come and pick us up now for lunch.

firefly - so sorry forgot to thank you for the Times comp for an iPad mini which I desperately want to win. Fingers crossed.

Are you entering both the hourly comps FF? We were out for a walk and came rushing back just before 1 so that I didn't miss entering the 12 O'clock. Don't know why as the time I did win on a Times comp I think I only entered two or three times. This will be one of the most popular though I would think.

Hi all, hope you are enjoying your Saturday!

Shiels, hope you got all your towels hung out and dried. I bet you will be glad of having a delicious roast lamb dinner cooked for you later after the busy time you have had We are also having a big Lamb dinner at my parents tomorrow - I won the huge leg of lamb with all the veg to go with it so the dinner cost nothing! (Mind you I do feel a little guilty when I see pics of little cute lambs lolloping around the fields!!!)




FF, still sunny here too and we will be getting a take away too. Not sure whether it will be pizza, a Chinese or an Indian though??? Looks like you postie had a sack for you today! I love it when several parcels arrive
together as it feels like my birthday! I bet posties dread the weight of their sacks after a bank holiday!

Hi Rose, I have been entering the hourly comps too. I bet they get lots and lots of entries each hour! If I need to go out I usually try to go just after the hour eg 11am then I know I have until just before 1pm until I need to enter next!

Hi Sylvia, Hope the sun got out for you and you enjoyed your lunch out with your DH's DD2/Partner.

The sun is still shining here so making the most of it by pottering on in the garden and doing my washing. I think is forecast to be more dull and cloudy tomorrow so might do some baking with the kids.


I think the men have deserted the Inn at the mo? Us girlies will just have to celebrate later with a little tipple!!! I won a bottle of Rose and it was delivered on Thursday so I am going to open that this evening and watch BGT! Have a lovely afternoon everyone

Yes great pics Bella and its OK as it is pork we are having! Great you won the lamb.
Towels should be bone dry now as sun has ben shining all day. Noticed the paths we were walking on which were mud the other week are now cracking they are so dry. (Council hasn't repaired them after the floods).
