Sorry to hear your sis has gone back home Katie, I'm sure it's not too long before you see her again :)

Congrats on getting your voucher ILC :T Enjoy shopping!

Great news on the upgrade Sheils :) Enjoy your brewers fayre!

Good luck with the dailies fire**fly, you must be lost now without the advents! They were just too many for me to enter, too overwhelming! :o

I agree mariolionza, we could do with some more smilies! I do miss the 'rolleyes' one when we have trolls on here! :) Sometimes smilies says a lot! I try to avoid the 'mad' one! :)

Been to pics with sis, niece & DD2 for the pound movie. They had the kids munch boxes on offer too for £2 so didn't cost much! Went to matalan afterwards for the bath sheets on offer but there were none left when we got there. Looking forward to kitchen shopping! :D
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

  • Hi all, traveled back today from DD's. We had a lovely time but am glad to be back in my own home and bed.

Will catch up with you all tomorrow. Have hardly done any comps while we have been away but managed to damage my lappie screen. Has anyone changed there own? Watch how to do it on utube and they make it look so simple. They are about £40 to buy but not sure how much it will cost if I take it to the shop.

Hope you have all had a lovely time over the Christmas holiday.

Hope you are enjoying your break Sheils.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

    Ask for a quote.
Does your TV have a VDU input you could use in the mean time?

Hope the comping fairy brings you a fresh new one....

Have a Morphy R. soup maker now - any good recipes? Carrot/parsnip, pepper, tomato n basil, apple/parsnip etc.

must admit my fave is tomato & basil  :j
you don't have to use fresh stock,

a vegetable stock cube works just as well :j
& half the time I use left over cold potatoes with veg stock cube to make a potato & vege soup & add my own herbs/seasonings

    happy soup making :j:j
