Social rewards users - is anyone doing the hashtag rewards on Caesars? I've not got an instagram account, wondering if it's worthwhile setting one up for this.
6 months and a couple of days until we go to Vegas. That sounds like AGES!!!0 -

love a bit of Cheesecake Factory! If you've not been though, be warned, portions are HUGE!
we've only ever had a main course each, never managed to finish them and have to get a piece of cheesecake as a cake-away!
i take my hat off to anyone who can eat in and complete a main + cheesecake!0 -
A quick question about resort fees.
We are due to go in April and have booked a Thomas Cook package as we got as good a deal as I could find booking separately and direct flights from Manchester.
As far as Im aware the resort fee is not included in the package price, there is no mention of it anywhere on the paperwork so I am fully expecting to pay it upon check-in. However what I have found is that on the Thomas Cook website for the hotel it states
'a local telephone charge $1 per room per day is charged by the hotel and is payable locally'
Now I think that the site is just not updated to reflect the change to resort fee as I cant imagine you have to pay the resort fee and the telephone charge.
Im wondering if its worth contesting the charge with Thomas Cook?0 -
Given its Thomas Cook which means you got a package deal, the total price you pay is the total price....
So as a backup, be prepared to pay the resort fee if you have to, and keep a receipt, and then do a mini battle when you get back to get your money back....
You will get your money back as the tour agent has failed to advise of additional costs....
But from previous posters on here who book TC packages, it normally includes the R fee, same as BA and VA holidays including the R fee....
I was told by the Vdara they use 2 agents who collect the Resort Fee on there behalf.... Those 2 agents are used by shed loads of brokers the world over........... which includes BA, VA, TC, LowcostUsa, etc etc etc

hey everyone
I'll try to crowbar this into the Las Vegas thread... the link being that you guys are like-minded holidayers - we do have a Vegas obsession in common at least!
I'm looking for a holiday recommendation for September (not LV sadly!), a week away, All Inclusive/Half Board, somewhere warm. It's not particularly adventurous, but we fancy an easy, super-relaxing holiday.
without wanting to sound European-ist (?!), preferably not a resort where there'll be lots of Brits/Europeans (I keep reading reviews of places where they/we all go round with mopey faces, complaining, which doesn't make for a great atmosphere!)
Budget of probably 750-1k per person.
Happy to receive PMs so the thread doesn't lose focus, thanks Vegasites!0 -

interesting...but
Caesars Entertainment Corp. is selling four properties to a separate unit that it controls for about $1.8 billion as it restructures its debt.
which doesn't seem much like really selling it but I get that these things are more complicated than that. Will be interesting to see if they stay part of TR or not.
But I think that we made the right choice in booking Caesars this trip regardless....I am tired of Bally's really but do like the room size...and would probably always go back there if there was nothing else interesting comped...but we will always have very fond memories of the place.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
