ASda baby event starts soon (can't remember when) but when i flicked through the leaflet yesterday, it shows that cow and gate baby formula is being reduced from £7.49 to £5 a tub... never normally reduces in price so for those that use formula, it's really good. I'll have a look when i get home. The leaflet also said some Olay wrinkle cream was going from £10 down to £5 and there was a £1 off voucher on the A booklet. It was a flyer through the door.Tiger

I just told OH that I'm budgetting this month and planning on spending very little. His response was "why?"... i'm fighting a losing battle there :rotfl: We are soooo different it's untrue.
I've just bought some t toys (thanks OP). Also got bdays and parties coming up (4 in the next 8 weeks).
MY OH does not quite get the budgeting thing either - I am making excel charts and tabulating every penny so I can get more accurate figures as to what we actually spend now - major household changes last year so none of the previous figures I've used for years are really relevant.
In the meantime he comes home and ruins my NSD by saying he and his mates have been to Morrisons for breakfast and he then gets a meal deal from Tesco no clubcard or MOCs or TPP  He also gets random money out of the cash machine ...
If OH does eventually retire sometime in the next 10 to 15 years and he wants to know what is our base line - the very least we can live on then I need to know what we are actually spending on normal months“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Just got a really good quality heavy-duty baking sheet from Jus-Rol. I usually buy just cheap ones but this is excellent so thanks to the OP who discovered the Jus-Rol Rewards.
Perhaps I can bake something, using the dreaded cupboard stash - biscuits anyone?
oooh a lovely freebie. Did you not want the £5 shopping vouchers instead or were they OOS?Mildred1970 wrote: »[STRIKE]Morning[/STRIKE] Afternoon all

I'm not even on it  Mind you, I am quite quiet
I also thought it was a poem at first read :rotfl: I really like it tooTiger

Afternoon peeps.
Been a busy week trying to sort things out!! it was my son's birthday yesterday, so today I took him and his family to Bridgwater to see his Nan (my mum). Started early so I could get back and have a talk with the wife. So I was a bit surprised to come back and find....
Empty kitchen!!! all ornaments, pictures, pots and pans gone!!!
And this, somethings missing, can you guess what?
Again, all ornaments, pictures and a 42" tv!!!!!!!!
A few bits that she's left.
Funny enough, I thought there was something about today, What was it now. Ah yes, that's it.....
12 years to the day since we first got together.
She moved into her new place today. The games have begun!!!!0 -
Still trying to fathom out where I went wrong with that one. Sun + said I signed up using the wrong link. So wont send me the £10 morries voucher. But I got the £5 voucher. Never got the lippies as they said I didnt apply for them.
Cant make out how I got the £5 voucher if I wasnt entitled to the lippies or the £10 voucher
Tried again for the Primark voucher, so waiting for thatMY OH does not quite get the budgeting thing either - I am making excel charts and tabulating every penny so I can get more accurate figures as to what we actually spend now - major household changes last year so none of the previous figures I've used for years are really relevant.

I'm doing my excel spreadsheet too.. i actually like doing all the numbers (not too keen on the outgoings at the mo though:rotfl:)
Doing the numbers I find really - well its an odd term but its almost comforting to know exactly where you are - even when money is so tight it squeaks.
I started doing complete excel analysis of the budgets 5 years ago when we were only just starting to turn a corner. I keep a running list of all the assets - cash in the bank and building society, any gift cards, anything due from ebay or Amazon, loose cash etc and I set it against any bills due in the following month.
So at any point I know how good or bad things are -“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
This is dreadful, totally heart breaking.scamps1966 wrote: »Afternoon peeps.
