There has been some lovely new baby announcements recently, but did they all come with the instruction manual?

You might invalidate the warranty if you don't follow the instruction manual.
    :)

OMG I really want a proper copy of these to print off and put on the wall in the office!

    evening folks

sorry for long one in advance

no heating or hot water here :(

If anyone got swinton gold home insurance or thinking of taking it out DONT

    had 2 visits now

1st said about parts needed and that i would have to have toilet taken out as boiler above (was finally agreed ott)

2nd visit arrive with out all parts but dismantle boiler anyway and when putting back they need a washer they aint got(even though were told to have washers from 1st visit)

was putting back together and said oh the valve wont seal either which i later found theyd loosened nut and wasnt valev at all

insurance told them not to do no more as a flex pipe had a bit of sludge in (which engineers make clean again)they dont want to carry on so left boiler stripped and not gonna do no more and i need power flush (engineers said it wont make any difference but insurance want excuse to not carry on)

had a gas friend call in and he said ive been had and he will sort out as he owes me favours but see what insurance say first
my mate also said theyve broke a bleed pipe on the fan as well
also he put some ptfe around washer and sealed it

awaiting management call as livid isnt the word

the reason we think they didnt want to do it as theyd travelled from walsall and coventry to telford at 115pm and wanted to get home and left at 230pm
Cheeky boogers Telford to Walsall isn't exactly ends of the earth, 45 minute drive at most, lazy gits. Hope you get it sorted and get some heating soon

whats annoying was i was told first guy who came from stoke would come back today then they sent one from coventry and 1 from walsall when it only needed one

the reason they thought valve seal had gone was cause one guy undid nut to release pressure and other went to fill up hence missing that nut was loose

just so annoyed as it went before xmas and they just dont want to do it

i told them ill get it done and bill you but will have to wait and see

Hello. Based on the number of posts you've been posting, this thread will last at least another 24 hours, you'll be fine.:)

Picked up a couple of wombles tonight - the first one, the ****s bought only six items. (They even managed to pick up two different varieties of one item that probably wouldn't have been a lot cheaper than elsewhere:mad::rotfl:.) The second one, the ******* ******** bought a load of Pot Noodles:(:(:(. They ought to be told that, if they'd left them out, they'd have probably made more money back than it cost to buy them. Well, probably not, since they bought a load of other stuff that was even dearer elsewhere:eek::eek::(. No surprises and didn't tell me much I didn't already know. I'm glad the Bird's Eye Chicken Fingers turn out to be more expensive in Mr T though, as I bought them 'blind' when getting rid of a small APG earlier in the week. At least I made the right decision at the time!:)

To say nothing of the other drivers on the roads on the way back. *********.:rotfl: Any frustration caused by other drivers' slowness to react.:mad:

Not much in Aldi today (from my point of view). Just about some Cox or "Fun"-size Apple packs at 89p. Savoy Cabbage at 39p (so beats any Avs Morries, and I suspect Morries much higher than 50p at the moment). Broccoli at 49p, but my store seems to be with large stalks and not as much at the top, so not sure how much I'd be getting. I'm pretty sure the Appleby's Chicken or Turkey Slices, at 300g, were 320g a few weeks ago and 360g a few weeks before that:(. Can't hide the increased price per unit though! I gave them a miss - I think the quality's gone down (from my perspective) and they've certainly had one recent weight reduction if not the two I seem to think they have had.

Ok, Morries collection tomorrow - I suspect it'll just start fitting in with the prices that are on the website.:):(:D

As for the phone, still a bit of a problem. Apparently I'd missed an earlier call to book a visit, despite calling them afterwards and speaking with them. Had heard nothing since:mad: - they promised to ring me before 8 pm. They rang back at ten past eight (never mind!:rotfl:) and visit now booked for next week. Not sure if partly some misunderstanding - I'll find out next week when they turn up!:D:rotfl::rotfl:

    hi gang
my lovey cousin has just taken on her four grandaughters, rather than have them in care......we are looking for some cheap lunch boxes as they started a new school today and carrier bags are not cool, lol!!

Good on her, she should receive financial support from the local authority to enable her to meet the kids needs
