Mind you, just looked and CofE says that 12th night was yesterday, lol!
Our tree tends to come down at the first row after Christmas.
I sent everyone out and then took all the decorations off myself so when they got back it was just the tree at needed packing.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I have very bad allergy asthma and I am on the maximum amount of medication you can take.
Including tablets a nebuliser and 3 inhalers. And I have a dog and it does not upset my asthma one bit
Cats can trigger an attack for me but I have to scrammed for the worst affects to take place.
it’s very easy to test if you will get a reaction so you will know for certain whether or not you will get a reaction to dogs or not
I could not be without my dog as a dog is a totally loyal companion and totally honest unlike humans
thanks but sadly we know i react badly to dogs i stuggle going into friends and familys houses if they have a dog, cats are bad for me to he is really looking out for me and i am the one being mean0 -

DD has just made my lunch.... It's called Birthday Surprise...
It's a ham and beetroot sandwich decorated with chopped pickled onions and shredded ham... Bless her..:)
Served with a side order of crisps
Probably best, not to look at the state of the kitchen :rotfl:[/URL]
Happy birthday hun x
That is the best birthday sandwich ever :T:DMildred1970 wrote: »I haven't found out yet about the hairspray/polish thing, however, I have found this Handy Hints webpage which is quite interesting

My favourites so far:
Outrun Crocodile/Alligator. Run in a zig-zag pattern, and not just in one straight direction. When making left or right turns, the crocodile/alligator has to come to a crawl to move in that direction because of its short legs.
Outrun Bear. Run downhill. Because of its 2 short front legs, a bear has to crawl down a hill. It can run up a hill, or up a tree, but when going down, its center of gravity forces it to go slower.
Gorilla Attack. If a Gorilla runs after you, do not run! Simply do not stare at his eyes, and look at the ground, and humble yourself towards it. He will walk away.
Always handy to know :rotfl:Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

I think it could be our lovely neighbour next door... Very nice man, his girfriend came to stay a lot over the festive season and they were, well... loud  Loud as in we could hear him through our wall... it was quite bizarre... think he thinks he's a car as made noise similar to bbbbrrrrrooooom brrrrroooooomm :rotfl: each to their own I suppose, we thought it was hilarious :rotfl::rotfl:
omg glad i have no neighbours just have to pit up with the chickensOur tree tends to come down at the first row after Christmas.

Oh that's a shame, I am sure there are dogs out there, that you wont have a reaction to, this spoodle doesn't loose his hair.bargainqueen8 wrote: »oh no thats not what i was hoping to hear for you.perhaps give it a bit of time and try with a different breed of dog.much as i love the springers we have had they are a handful.the cocker we have now is quieter but does follow you around everywhere.perhaps hes just unsettled being away from home, ours is as daft as a brush but doesnt like being away from home even going to my mums to stay over we were there but he still wouldnt eat as was homesick!stupid dog.:rotfl:
Yes this dog hasn't eaten much at all since they have been gone, supposed to eat 2 meals a day and for the first 7 days, hardly ate anything at all. He is eating a bit more now but not 2 meals, I do give him titbits ( I know naughty but at least he is eating something). He does follow me around everywhere, quite cute really, but OH is finding it annoying.Sadly sometimes you have to admit defeat and realise its not going to happen.
I am wondering though if there is a short term fostering scheme for rescue dogs - I seem to think there is one for cats, ones waiting to fond new homes but maybe dogs have ones run by dog shelters as well?
Or maybe if you do have a local dog shelter you could do a few hours there each week - not the same as having your own but at least its some dog company.
I also know there is a dog walking scheme - again, not the same as having one of your own bit at least you get a chance to go walking and you can pretend for an hour it shout own . .
I do look after my friends dogs she lives 2 doors down, they have a lab and a king Charles, and I walk them both at lunchtime as the lab is still having 3 meals a day. I know its not the same as having my own, but I don't think I have much choice at the minute, unless he has a major change of heart, after this one has gone home. Cant see it myself though.0 -
