  • Morning all.
    Happy new year 🎉🎊🎉🎊

Hope there aren't too many sore heads today. I lasted until bang on midnight then I slunk off to bed. I only had about 4-5 glasses of fizzy pink stuff but I'm defo feeling it still. I've got raging bleeding heartburn still. :(

Gonna be trying out a gammon joint in the slow cooker today for the 1st time. I'm quite excited lol:rotfl:
Anyone know if I need to cover it in coke or is half filled enough?
    Please and thank you x

Never tried it with coke but you don't need to cover meat in the slow cooker, I have done it without any added liquid before now (bubbs beef:D) and with gammon I tend to pop a enough cider in to give it a bit of moisture, about a quarter the way up the gammon.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
