£10 from a mystery shop today. I've collected a few more items to ebay, but will wait for a free listing weekend I think. Might take some photos to be prepared.

I have my first mystery shop next week any advice would be greatly appreciated... just a few pence here and there for surveys I don't usually tend to qualify for more than 75p at a time.

My advice would be: read the brief a few times and make notes of the important points, e.g. are they asking you to count the number of customers, do you need to note exactly what their greeting was, any details of the scenario you need to remember.

As soon as you leave the shop, write down the name of the person who served you, the time you entered and left and any other specific points. They will drop out of your head sooner than you think.

Do the report as soon as you get home, then relax and wait for your payment.

Good luck, hope it goes well.

Logged into my banking today, as I do everyday, and I'm shocked to discover some money gone in!

    £3.99 for a small sale
    £22.81 sale
£24.30 my travel expenses for the uk's smartest shopper finally paid - had to chase it up
    £6.39 from ziffit.

Meaning my total is now £306.13! So close!

I'm so thrilled because as I mentioned, I was going to do a balance transfer from one of my credit cards to another 0% card! except now barclaycard aren't offering me 0%. It has spurred me on to pay the £1,200 THIS MONTH and with this challenge I'm going to do it!

I forgot to add that I also did a small mystery shop last night, I've got a phone call that was due yesterday but the company weren't picking up, so that has been rearranged for Monday and I'm doing a small one in my village today.
