Lots of love to you please let me be lucky xx

I've got a refund of £2.25 to add from theatre tickets after being told they have been lost in the post and I can pick them up at the theatre, but being charged for postage, I asked for a refund and it has been paid.

I've got 11p from Qmee and have joined a new ms company today. I also got a letter from google Adsense saying I needed to log into my account else it would be closed down, it says there is an amount 'above the payment threshold' in there, which all sounds great, even though I don't remember ever getting google ads to work on any site I've been involved with. I bet it will be 20p or something!
  • Bought fruit, veg and bread down from £20.18 to £2.02. Will start by making big pot of soup and a load of garlicky croutons. Too late to make plans for the two bowls of cherries... :)

Our water refund has arrived, so I need to research new washing machines, whoop.

Nothing to add yet, although I have:

Chased up First Utility for their compensation payment - had a phone call this morning and I should have it by Tuesday.

Listed two bikes and a cross trainer on Facebook. Interest in one of the bikes so far.

Had an email offering me £5 bonus money if I logged into Glossy Bingo. I did, and discovered I had £10 real money in there - £20 is the minimum withdrawal. So I played though until I reached £20 and have withdrawn that. I originally used them as Quidco were offering more cashback than you had to deposit - which was a few months ago and Quidco have now paid.

Crossing everything for a free listing weekend on eBay this weekend.
    I like to make money
Best wins: £3,000 luxury holiday, holiday in Cornwall, £250 Murad Skincare hamper, angle grinder

    I'm finally getting somewhere!

    A whole 5p roadkill

£9.14 requested from Quidco as a company have paid out earlier than expected
    £5 requested from Swagbucks

Sold something on a facebook group and several lots of fabric via insta gram, waiting to post to find out what I actually have made exactly on all of that.

So official total is only 5p at the moment but I think I can get to nearly £100 with all of this once I've sorted postage and got the money I've claimed.

I've got tomorrow off work as flexi (I don't get paid overtime but I can take it as flexi so that's what I try to do) so the aim is to get more fabric sorted for destash part 2 on Sunday night and 5 items of clothing listed on FB. I think getting started with selling again is the hardest part, once you sell something it motivates you to sell more.

Current target is to use money for a garden shed, we've never had one but garage is a bit full so a shed would really help.

  • Hi all,

Good to see everyone doing so well. Any extra money is definitely better than nothing!

So far, I have listed 20 things on Ebay. I've sold 18, working out at roughly £179 after fees, postage etc so my total is £179/£155. Yay! Think I'll get listing more things over the weekend, and revise my target... :j

I would never have thought of selling something through insta gram, how does that work? Is it to someone you know or is there some random hashtag you use?? :D

8 printer cartridges ready to be set off to Tesco for 400 points, so that's another £4 towards the total. I also had a look for the value of an old phone and was surprised to find that Cex will give me £21 for it. Got that all ready to post too, fingers crossed they don't downgrade it too much when they receive it.

I had a second interview for a job today, it went well but they want do a third formal interview in a few weeks. I'm trying not to jinx it - still working hard on this challenge so if I do get the job, then that will be a bonus.
