Whoop! If we can include our Christmas gifts I can add £100 which I didn't add to last month's challenge as I was away.

Also £5 win, 80p shopping voucher and £3 ebay.

    So £108.80

I have also "sold" a jacket for £30 on ebay but still no payment after 2 weeks. I've given the buyer the benefit of the doubt so far due to Christmas and New Year but need to get it sorted out so I can relist if necessary. Boo!

Have added £27.69 after fees and postage on eBay, and 73p in nectar points from doing adpoints and using a double points voucher when I bought petrol today.

For the first time ever, every buyer has paid on eBay pretty much immediately, 2 items didn't sell so I've relisted them straight away. Made another £15 but that was for one of my daughters, who is starting to ask me to put stuff on there that she has bought herself, her twin sister by the way says if I sell anything of hers, I should keep the money.

I also have a fab old kilt on there in time for Burn's Night, that's for my mother in law, she does so much for us, I'm not going to take any cut. It's getting a lot of interest which is great.

Loving seeing this thread so busy. Like others I am paving the way for more payments, loved my pub roast in a mystery shop today, not sure I can say the same about watching Splash for a survey yesterday!

I didn't think to add my Christmas gifts - I got £200 that I've put away. :T But as I'll be spending it in April on fares and accomodation for Whitby Gothic Weekend, it's only temporary savings.:p

    Hi All :)

I'm new to this but would like to give it a go please... could you put me down for £10 a day?

I have already sold a number of DVD's for £40 and something on facebook for £6
The rest of my DVD's I have put on music magpie (which I've never used before so hopefully they'll give me what they said) and they have offered me £45.44 which I need to send the DVD's off for first!
Then I'll go through my CD's too....

So what does everyone else do to make £10 a day

    :)
    Jan £10 a day £316.15/£310
    Feb £10 a day £384.31/£280
    Mar £10 a day £72.00/£310

    Morning all :D

Firstly a belated Happy New Year to all you gorgeous moneysavers :)

Apologies for my lack of posts over the festive period I was flitting between friends and in-laws and family on a daily basis for 2 weeks and barely picked up my ipad.

Can I please sign up for £15/day as I've already made a huge dent and want to push further.

    Ok money made so far:

    - £200 xmas present from M&D
    - £26.90 topcashback payout cleared
    - £2.50 nectar redeem
    - £97 as no council tax to pay this month or next (hurrah!)
    - £3 saving on farm shop as my nan brought me 12 of her allotment eggs :p
    Total = £329.40 :T

I was a good MSE devotee and used the money from M&D to clear a small niggly debt of £190 and am now £25pcm better off for no longer having to make that payment. However I'm going to throw the £25pcm at one of my credit card debts so won't actually have it in my pocket, but I'm still proud to be 1 debt down 1 week into the new year :) great start eh?

    But now for the biggy!

I asked my oh so wonderful gf if she would kindly use her powers of persuasion and immence patience to renegotiate my sky contract as I'd done all the maths and could move my phone & broadband to tesco for £14.90pcm instead of the £23pcm I'd been paying sky and also I had a previous "loyalty discount" due to expire which would have seen my bill rocket to nearly £100pcm!!!
Being the ever so fantastic woman she is, she haggled away on my behalf, and managed to get rid of movies and sports (previously thrown in for free under the old discount) got my broadband charge cancelled completely, and got my line rental reduced by 50% to a toal charge of £7.70 for phone & broadband (and thus beating tesco too).
So now my Sky bill has droppeed from £70.40 to £39.70 and guaranteed for 12 months :D:T:D:money: Thats a saving of £368.40 for the year!!! But I'm going to declare £30.70 a month saving at the start of each month as it's money I forked out last year, so I will actually see it in my bank balance. And again, I will do the same and throw an extra chunk at a credit card to try and hammer down those balances.

So adding my £30.70 sky saving on to my total above brings me to £360.10 :D I have a very proud face right now ;)

Received my cheque from LadyLucks bingo, so that's £13. Have also completed 2 mystery shops today, know I haven't actually been paid yet, but have invoiced them and know they are good for it, so I'm going to count that, so £23 in the kitty.

Going through my purse I realised that I have a gift card for Game lurking in there with £14.52 on. Not really of any use to me, as the kids have outgrown DS games and Nintendo don't make new Wii games (all Wii U now), so was thinking of selling it on eBay for a tenner - does anyone know if that is something that eBay allow? Alternatively, if anyone on here wants it for a tenner will happily do that.

Right, off to sort through old books and list on webuybooks!
