    Happy Christmas everyone

Mum2one, what I love about this thread is that it isn't solely focused on the topic but incorporates all the different aspects of our lives so although I've never met your family I sort of feel as though I know them.

As for your disastrous love life as you call it, I think I've got a claim in that too with habit of lurching from one strange relationship to the next. I still haven't got free of the last one even with about 50 attempts lol

Because I had a very odd reaction to pills last week and went doolaly, I've only got frozen food this week so no getting up at dawn to peel veg so able to take my time.

Hope it all goes smoothly for you all (well as much as it can) and look forwards to reading your updates later.

    Hi all

Now you mention Boots, mum2one, I was unnerved when I went in there last week because there was a security guard, first time I've ever seen one in the village apart from Mr T's and I was really on edge browsing and when I left via the other door after buying something I held my plastic bag up higher than necessary and looked at him lol

Sorry you had a meltdown on Christmas Day but it's expected in many ways as we plan the day for so long and the slightest little thing can set us off.

I had a very bad time the week before when I had a bad reaction to pills and I became paranoid with obsessive thoughts and never imagined Christmas week could go as smoothly as it did, maybe because I forced myself to do as much as I could in advance.

Next year I'll try and start much earlier as I did in previous years, I think my F Freezer packing up played a part because none of the newer models I saw in the shops were anything as roomy as my old one so I had to eat up food first after I first bought it before I could buy the Christmas stock.

I used to have a traditional chest freezer. I rehomed it with my sister and bought an upright freezer with drawers. I like the upright better because I can pack like items together in separate drawers, and no longer have things in the bottom from years and years ago because of newer stuff simply being put on top of old. I can fit 5 loaves of bread in one drawer :)

I bought 2 bags of before shop shut of bargains of Mr T's yesterday and couldn't fit it all into my upright FF, no way could i get even 1 loaf in but have to dismatle the loaf with about 4 slices into freeezer bags and fill up the drawers that way.

Wish I had one like you but when I looked at the showroom they all had shallow drawers.

Hi Mrs M, how is MIL? Will you still be helping out after the NYE?

Mum2one, you do seem to have constant illnesses with Miss H, how are her allergies now? And what about you and allergies, I recall those dodgy reactions when you ate out ?

I've got a hangover from hell today, rather unexpected day out yesterday and friend buying me drinks and mixing them so I hope my week won't be ruined I had a lot planned today but had to cancel.

    How are you all?
