Obviously your love of the product is preventing you getting the beast deals, which are reserved for those actually prepared to cancel. Being unable to hold your nerve until the service goes off (not two days before) is the problem here.
With respect you are not telling me something I don't know. However, with the Ashes currently only on Sky and Premiership football its tough going 'cold turkey'. What was annoying was that I missed two calls made to my landline which were from from Sky when I was within a week of the cut off.
My sky multiroom box has stopped working and I don't want to pay the £65 for an engineer to call followed by the likely cost of a replacement box or upgrade.
Can I simply buy a 2nd hand box from somewhere like ebay or Amazon and replace it or is there more to it than that?
