Daughter left Uni, help needed accommodation costs.
Just a quick update, someone has taken the room!!! :j:j:j:j
Sadly, CRM did not let us know, the remaining occupants of the flat did.:( (par for the course though).
But, nevertheless it's gone and we just have to pay the two weeks rent offered as an incentive. The student finance she owes will not become payable until she earns £21k as before.
Just in time it would seem as there have been a large number of students leaving this week and lots of rooms are being advertised.
Just needs to get onto her chosen course now.;)
Good luck to your dd in the future ,we were in that position when, due to a number of factors my dd left her course.Bereavement, course not being right,illness..there are many reasons for students leaving/changing or deferring courses. Many go on to complete their university education or succeed in other ways. Some support not criticism may be necessary-unfortunately we had to wait longer for a replacement in her room and it did add a burden to our finances.:( however she did get her degree so now we are happy we supported her at that time:)
