Thanks brizzle - i am the same and am currently procrastinating over ou work  But it has been productive procrastination - 1 drawer of the desk decluttered - several items for the bin and 2 items to the carboot stash. As items for the living room and hall are being stored in the spare room until the living room is done there is little to part with - the drawer has 3 ornaments / decorations in that are to be put out after the decorating has been done - at least i now know whats what and where it is and that it is being kept also
My head isn't in the right place for study at the mo. Think i'll do 1 page and then the next drawerCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
1 page done
2nd drawer done - nothing to part with at all! It is my pen storage drawer - i now very rarely buy pensAs i have now got them mostly all together (the ones not needed in uni bag, work bag, general household usage) But over the years i have acculmulated lots and lots - but i *do* write so instead of clearing them all out they are here and come in handy such as today when i needed a couple of replacement pencils and a new highlighter as i just get them all out of my stash rather than having to buy new
Ok, washing pots time

Hi PB,

Mainly.
And busy busy, too!
Your decluttering is good. I've just got rid ofloads to the tip and the charity shop. Part of me thinks 'Ooh, don'tget rid of that - you can Ebay it' (supported by me just taking the just over £5 I earned from my last sale out of my PP account just now) but there's just too much. I could still be here in the sameposition in a year. I am keeping a small amount of stuff that reallymight actually have value, and I'm being ruthless and getting rid ofanything that is iffy or just unsuitable to Ebay.
I may be poor, but I feel GREAT! :j
This had to happen. I can't live all cluttered uplike this any more. Having said that, it's *killing* me looking atthe books I'm trying to get rid of. I've got rid of some that I don'thave any interest in any more, but I'll have to get rid of some thatI would like to keep as I just don't have the room for them all, butI simply cannot keep them all. I'll make that decision when I haveto, but I am getting rid ofa ll this stuff to invite new things intomy life, and that is desperately needed, so I'm not grumbling. Too much. :rotfl:
Right, better get on with it. I have jobs to applyfor *Puts shoulder to keyboard and gets applying*Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Hi all,
I am just giving myself an hour to relax a bit and get in the study mindset after a hard day at work and a horrendous commute home
Yesterday i lost all my time due to unexpected visits from family so i have lots and lots to catch up on
Today i made a purchase out of this weeks shopping budget so an NSD as it was out of budget for shopping and was cheaper than the supermarket
I decided to part with 2 other bits from the bedding box so they have been added to the carboot stash.
Spare room update: I've just got to clear the top of the desk, 1 drawer and the windowledge - all pretty much my Mr's stuff but it needs moving / sorting as it will look so much better
That should get done today / tomorrow if i need to check with Mr D on stuff then the hall, landing and bathroom will get done tomorrow as there really isn't much there to sort out to be honest
That will then leave the under the stairs and the living room to do and the whole of the inside of the house will be complete :T and then i can move on to the outdoors
First off though i've to get this assignment done :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

I do have a Kindlemibob but I'm not paying a second time for something I already paid for.Plus, I much prefer an actual book to an e-reader, but I'm generally getting everything out of the library nowadays, so hopefully there won't be many more issues like this in the future.
