Grr to cars. My breakdown cover doesn't go up if I call out (you get a certain number per year) so maybe you ought to look to go with someone else. If you call out for the same issue and haven't fixed it though they will charge.
With the no claims, you can have up to 18 months I think without being insured before you lose your no claims."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Uck to car issues. Great on the decluttering tho. Finally have started decluttering own shoes!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
You're really working on things - its great! Did you get that half hour or so this morning to call your own, to work on your dreams?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thanks for the info. jwil - my Mr is unmoveable on the one car between us though so unless this car is economically irreparable then i will just need to keep plodding on. I also have family who rely on me for the car too. Posting this has just made me realise the pressures from other areas alot of us live with alot of the time. Hmm...
I can't afford another reasonable car so we will see what the repair bill brings
Hope your car is ok too xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Thanks Watty - i cannot tell you how good it feels to just think of the 'space' thats there now - i say 'space' like that as the wardrobes are quite a poor design so not much shoe room so i don't have loads of pairs but even more than 2 pairs are difficult to get to as they are stacked up and then the clothes hang over them so it could be quite a battle.
I will pop over and see how your decluttering is going and hopefully spur myself onto some moreCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hi KC, I am sorry to say i didn't get that 30 minutesI had an early night in preparation for it but was woken at just after midnight and kept awake until after 3am due to shouting  Words have been had
But i think sometimes just how shall i make this point so its productive - getting a megaphone just wouldn't work
and its not that i was deliberately disturbed, just more that the fact that i needed to be up by 6am was clearly not a consideration
So i have been red-eyed, tired and grumpy all day

Hello all,
i have gotten home today and am really grouchy- i need to snap myself out of it
A good part of it is tiredness - but if i went to bed now i wouldn't sleep and i certainly wouldn't sleep tonight then either - i know what my sleep patterns work like.
I am also grouchy because of the reason for the tiredness - me and my needs not being thought of at all.
And because i had to make 2 complaints today.
And because the car won't start and i am worried about the cost
And because i am feeling down i may as well throw in there how i want a lovely detached house where we have room for friends and pets and our own things too - ok this one really is me just me moaning :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Right - so, in a completely constructive state of mind - as achieving something should produce the happy sense of satisfactioni am going to:
1, check banking and make overpayment
2, start the bedroom declutter. The utility has been done :T And i have written out a list of the bedroom declutter areas - the final one being the revisit of the shoes just to see if i can part with any more thenThis will mean all areas are covered logically and give me areas to tick off :T
3, have a cuppa
4, assignment
This weekend i got, i think about £77 or £82 listed on the bay of e - i need to do the declutter to find more things to part with but i was pleased to have made a start and also slightly alarmed that i didn't even make it to a quarter of the way towards goal
Hope everyone is wellCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Tea sorted for tomorrow, cuppa had
too tired to focus on assignment and i need a very early start tomorrow too.
On the bedroom declutter i have thrown 2 items away - only thing they were good for, 2 items for carboot and 1 item to be given away - nothing yet found for bay of e
survey done for pennies.
Aiming for a very productive day tomorrowCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
