long hard day in work and it all and more to do again tomorrow
a few more bits have left the house as i've noted and am pleased about- it is in a way surprising how counting each thing leaving mounts up but on the other hand thats partly why i set such a big target - i didn't want anything too easily achievable
Heating is off for now & i'm cosily wrapped up in my dressing gown to try and keep warm and help fight off the last of this cold / flu-ey thing
my mr got home earlier than expected yesterday so operation clear the living room wasn't completed. i will continue that today and there's only a few bits left to move out of here now :T - hopefully i'd like to find some more bits to clear but i was pretty ruthless with the books yesterday so am not sure how that will go on.
i love reading but lately have had far too much on my mind to be able to switch off and take in a book so i've selected a book to part with that is all very short stories and intend to read at least 1 each week - once read it'll be a big book decluttered so there is an added incentive there and i'm hopeful it will help me get used to putting things aside in my headif any of that makes sense.
Ok gotta hit the books - hope all are well?CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
You have such amazing motivation DDFW. :T Chickens sound like a fab idea, I started out with some rescue ones and in my experience found that they didn't have a very long lifespan. I think they lived for a couple of years after I adopted them, guess they were exhausted from all that egg laying - poor things.

You're doing a grand job!
When I was studying and working my poor brain couldn't cope with reading anything new, so I just read the same old favourite books over and over. found it very soothing and it didn't matter if I stopped paying attention :rotfl:0 -

Hello all
Hope everyone is doing well?
It has been a long hard week and after working alot of extra hours i've been fairly wiped out today
I want to get a few things done this evening to try and make the day feel more productive.
I've done all the washing and moved this.
Pots all washed, dried and moved throughout the day.
Work bag and purse re-organised.
Some study work completed.
Bedding stripped and re-made.
This evening i'd like to tackle some paperwork thats been around a while - so i plan to move 1 piece of paperwork in between other tasks - i've kept on top of all the new paperwork this week - this is all the paperwork from before this. eg the 1st piece i've come to move needs filing but i may well need it to refer to with an ongoing issue - its in the right place now for this until its eventually filed away.
i am on track to meet my overpayment target for this year which has got me thinking about what i'd like to achieve in the new year so i've jotted a few things down for that
I've sold a few bits so made payments to my target card for these amounts.
I've also rechecked my xmas stash and am mostly organised there
Going to get on with some study and will then pop back inCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Good work there! :j :j VERY impressed with you being sorted with your Christmas stash! I haven't even started thinking about that yet!
Hope this latest studying bout goes well! :j :j You've inspired me - off to write a list on my own diary (but don't you get distracted from your studying wandering over there! :rotfl: )0 -
I hope things are OK with you.
Best wishes xMortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000
