  • Aw thanks jwil - it would've been better if i hadn't been poorly still but i suppose its better than not going anywhere all weekend.

Can anyone recommend any book buying sites? I'm sure i've read of some in the past & i've sorted out some more books to sell.

Amazon trade in, zapper, webuybooks, ziffit, fatbrain.

I've not used any of them but those are ones I'm aware of.

  • So i've started clearing out the book shelf - finally letting go of some books i thought i'd have forever. But its right that they are going - the whole bookcase is going as it has been 'make do with' furniture since we moved in here & is not right for us. A new piece of furniture may, in time, fill the space, but for now it is just being cleared out and we can just appreciate the room. if we ever see anything that we love and would be perfect for the room we have then it will be replaced but there are no shopping trips planned for this. So, when the bookcase is empty, i will be counting that as an item decluttered :T

Done some practice tests for revision for my course.

Listed 1 book on bay of e - due to value

    breakfast eaten

going to have a quick mosey on here and then on with more study ;)

more studying completed, along with getting washer on and now drying, 2nd lot of pots washed dried and moved for today. more books removed -some to read and 1 to sell -had been on the 'to buy' list for uni and we never touched it

Hope everyone is having a nice sunday?

This week i'm working all week and am working late except for the days when i have college 2 evenings. I also want to take some items to family - things they want that i'm not keeping and they will look through the carboot items to see if there is anything they want from that as well. so that'll be 2 days where i'll be out until extra late  it should really be :j though when its done as there will be more space here and the to do list will be coming more ta da :T

I am pondering the re-design of our small garden as i'd like to get some chickens - it has been something i've mentioned in the past but i think we're now in a position where this could be possible within the next year - i'd like to do what mwc does and have hens that lay different coloured eggs so i'd kow who's were who's & they'd look pretty too :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: i'd want to get rescue hens though so don't know if you can specify that - if not its fine i'll stick with rescue ones - now to do more work here to make this possible :D

Ooh, ace job DDFW! :j :j

Hooray to chickens :j I think the thing with rescue ones is they're usually rescued from commercial farms, and usually caged hens past 'productive' laying (although still fine for home of course) - means they're usually all kust one breed, so have the same coloured eggs, the ones you usually see in the shops.

At least that's my impression, I'm happy to be corrected! :)

(I'd love to have some chickens :D sspace for chickens is top priority for our new house :D )

Thanks cheery and shs - i figured that was the case but will still want the rescue ones ;)

our garden is quite small but after reading up on the space they need i'm happy they'll have ample room and be well looked after here as i'll be giving them quite a bit more than the minimum guideline :D ideally i'd like to move somewhere bigger in future and of course giving them a bigger area then will be a priority :T
