  • Morning all - just

been up and out already which took a bit longer than expected

now settling down to the day - just popped lunch in the oven - popped out for a pie from a pie shop as a treat & its cold - since when do they serve them cold ? so warming it up now

Feeling pretty rotten too - full of a cold, headache, body aching so the heating is on :o I need to be well for Monday as i have so much work to do :(

aims for today / the weekend are -

clear all items from living room which shouldn't be here - except for the immovables ie few bits leftover from some work which has been done and may be needed in future but where to store them?

    study, study, study...

organise work bag for the coming week - already written out to do list

complete a rewrite of cv re. current role as need up to spruce this up ready for applying for a new job

supposed to be going out tonight but due to feeling rotten i may cancel - i'll see how i feel after lunch :( - its more a case of feeling obliged to go

Aw DDFW ((((((()))))) read that post back to yourself lass. You're exhausted, have lots of work to do on Monday - and yet you're planning a load of housework, studying, redoing your entire CV and goodness knows what else. Be kind to yourself lass! :kisses3: Some things you might *need* to do but please, PLEASE put sleeping and resting at the top of your priority list, decluttering can wait til you're healthy xxx

Sorry, don't mean to come across as an old bossyboots and I imagine you're feeling pretty overwhelmed right now :( but I want you to stay healthy xxxxx
  • Hope you feel better soon DDFW. I agree with Cheery Daff, get some rest and be kind to yourself.

    Sending healing vibes your way.

  • Thanks all for the kind words :)

Cheery - thank you & you are right i am a bit overwhelmed with everything at the moment which is why i am planning to do so much - it clearly all won't get done but progress will be steps in the right direction and i can see light at the end of the tunnel in terms of the house and living more simply :D

Chocs and mortgage_girl - thank you both too - although i did go out last night - i felt better for not eating and i was supporting a friend and did not want to let them down :o am not feeling as bad today so it may have been the right choice to go :D

  • Morning to all :D

I didn't achieve everything yesterday but got some studying done and also moved a few things but i had plenty of rest as well :)

as i said i am feeling a bit better today - certainly not as bad as yesterday and hope to make a bit more progress.

Work bag is sorted except for packed lunch which i make fresh in the morning ;)

    study, study, study

    continued operation clear living room

write 1 good bullet point for current role on my cv - making a start will make all the difference i think

also today i need to paint my nails - they *need* painting as they are in very poor condition just now so the paint masks that and i look more presentable as a result ;)

pop in on here for plenty of regular breaks - i expect you'll see lots of me today :D
