Thank you small and jwil - it feels like i've not been on here for a while so time for a bit of an update.
I've bought all the books and materials that i know i need for my course at the moment
I've paid for this on the same card i booked the course on and opened a new account (going via cashback) and balance transferred this to the new account both :T and
as its a bill that needs paying so a plan needs to be made.
I may have to rethink my week as i will have a few late nights during the week now so may need to change when i see family now - although there won't be another free window every week i don't think - the commute really adds a lot of time and tiredness onto the day.
In other not so good news the car is scheduled to go into the garage - i'm aware of 3 other faults other than the fact that it won't go  It has been such a money pit and has left me feeling very glum
:(:( Maybe now is the time to buy a new to me car which will hopefully be more reliable. however, there is the small problem that there is no money in the pot to pay for this...
had a few small sales so got a payment to make to the target card :T however car repair bill and new car will mean alot more things will need to be sold
Crumbled and bought a cake on the way home
should have maybe saved the £1.80 to pay to a bill perhaps.
Hope all are well xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Aw DDFW give yourself a break lass - £1.80 on a cake isn't going to break the bank and sometimes it's just what you need. Be kind to yourself xx
:j :j yay to getting course stuff all sorted out
Pah to pesky car misbehaving though
Hope they can sort it xx 0 -

So sorry about car. Have to say though that it has been a thread through your posts over a wee while..time to move on perhaps as you say? Know it's special but has it run its course?

£1.80 on cake?
Get a grip, my lovely!
Honestly, sometimes you are so hard on yourself it's untrue!
Sorry I've not been around much but I am in the middle of trying to buy a house and it is a nightmare!

Hello all
i hope everyone is well? lovely to pop into all of your messages - however i am in a phenomenal grump still - which is a good part of the reason i've not been posting much
so if you want to stop reading until normal cheery service is resumed that is fine.
Brizzle - so lovely to see you - i was reading your thread the other day and made a note about your fabulous sounding wonderbag
I would love to replace my car but have put my sensible head on and have to admit it is not financially possible. Will plod on with this one for now - i have no special attachment to it - its just my car
PB - positive vibes on the house purchase - and yes, keep us updated
Tattycath - sorry i missed your post thank you - you're doing fab on your targets :T
Cheery, PB, jwil - how about if i admit the cake sits uneaten in the cupboard still
i also have to admit to having a good go at spending some money on very small treat things today to cheer myself up - lunch - £1.97 and a complete waste of money - it was horrid and not really what i wanted. Lesson learnt! £1.80 on bits for tea - was actually quite nice and essential in one way but expensive really - Must do better! I was trying to give myself a break and get something easily do-able
ok, far too many things going wrong in my life to bore you all with so will try and look at some positives:
Got some cat cuddles today - best thing ever!
work not being great means *opportunity* i *have* to sort my cv out and get myself out there - yes! this weekend will be all rock and roll  - had thought my CV was better than it is but have realised alot of it is catered towards applying for different roles at the same company i'm at now so these are the things that need changing
Being a misery means i'm tired of 'stuff' challenged myself to get rid of a further 1000 items by xmas - started with 1 skirt & 1 dress - will add target to sig
take care all and i will try and pop in and post on your diaries soon xxCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Aw DDFW, sorry you're still feeling gloomy
As others have said, don't be so hard on yourself. Hope you've got that CV sorted out
I've done it recently as you know and it felt like a real boost, seeing everything written down that I'd done
Hope it does the same for you xx 0 -
declutter a further 1000 ??? Heavens!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
I got the house! :j
And 1000 items? I'm half impressed, half horrified at the idea as I can see that you will have to throw yourself out to make target!

Congrats on the house PB :T
DDFW - get that cake eaten! Good luck with the target, I'm sure I'll find 1000 items much easier than you
