That sounds like loads, and your list tomorrow is daunting! You put me to shame, lol. I can sit here and think 'wow DDFW is getting loads done' while I consider getting up to put the kettle on again as a bit too much like hard work.

Btw I'd like to clarify that I haven't actually answered the door in 'holey' pyjamas...but I'll be sure to share if I have any delivery related 'incidents' lol x

Hi Giblet I having a read on your diary :D Need to check my list and see what i achieved / need to do

  • The 3 phone calls at the bottom of the list will get moved to tomorrow

    So tonight i have:-
    1 drawer to declutter
    practice instrument
    revise language
    sort work bag

Not a bad achievement so far really :T

I also want to clear the paperwork that has built up in front of me

Very pleased to have got my tax return done now as well - it was just weighing on my mind a bit so am pleased its out of the way :)

I sold 2 bay of e items yesterday so am pleased with that declutter too. And i've sorted out more things for the carboot :T

I may have decided on what to wear over the weekend to see if i am keeping the item or not - i've not worn it this year so this will give me a chance to see how i feel in it :) The other day i wore a dress and felt alot better in it than i thought i would so a keeper ;) but the other week i wore jeans that now don't fit me very well due to my weight loss - off to the carboot stash they went! ;)

I have been a bit lazy getting my new glasses - the optician has said carrying on with the ones i have is fine but there is a change in my prescription and this was obvious to me at the eye test. I have earmarked a couple that i like but have no pennies for them but i then got a fabulous gift voucher in the post so will need to see what the overall price is :D

Have decluttered a magazine and a program so far today too and have had 2 meals :) although 1 was horrid  to be honest i am not well so things aren't tasting the same :(

Right a bit more diary catch-up time then 1 piece of paperwork, tackle said drawer and then music / work bag / revision - i'll probably need to pop back here before then to see where i'm up to! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope everyone has had a good day - i do *like* achieving lots in the day but i think its part of my problem when i have a day off in the week due to working the weekend that i don't relax in the same way as i would if i had 2 days off together x

    Wow!

And yes - even if you have two days off a week, if they're not consecutive, its really not the same. Hope you can alter that in due course

  • I have decluttered the drawer :T But maybe that should read as re-organised? It has been decluttered to the point where all items are being kept no matter how often i reassess it :p It looks fab and now fits in all the things i need it to :T

Practiced my music - not too sure whether the cat appreciated that or not :rotfl:

Also cooked some meat - really i should have just done this earlier but i *was* going to do a recipe with the meat like a casserole / stew but in the end decided after cooking 5 different meals today that it would just be meat for sarnies - so just waiting of that cooling down now. I *do* need some new pans though and may make a purchase this week. It was *so* frustrating having to cook 1 meal at a time as i kept needing the same pan - only 1 big enough! Which meant for many pot washing sessions and a muchly extended time in the kitchen.

The lasagne i had made had cooled so thats all been portioned up now and all of the pots have been washed, dried and moved. Phew!

I have been spectacularly ill - which is a good thing as hopefully thats it out of my system before work tomorrow :)

In MSE news i am still drinking the cup of coffee i made this morning :coffee: :D

I have also sorted out 2 pieces of paperwork :T

Am going to sort out 2 more pieces of paperwork and then sort my workbag :)

Leaving revision for last - although it is just 1 piece of paper i sort of need someone else to test me but my Mr is at work so i will do what i can and hopefully my Mr will be well enough to help me out at the weekend - not sure anyone will fancy helping me with it on the commute into work tomorrow :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Aww...so sorry to hear that you've been that ill. I was feeling very sad and empathetic, and then I read that you'd managed to make 1 cup of coffee last all day, and went into major shock. How is that possible???? I prescribe more regular (coffee) breaks :) I must have about 10-15 cups of tea / coffee at least each day, although they are mostly decaf!

I totally agree about the problem with not having two days off together. I also think there is that temptation in the week to 'do' more stuff that needs to be done, rather than fun things i.e. the bank / post office / call centre will be open and I should ring etc etc etc

I also hate 6 day weeks, lol

I'd be happy to help you revise, but I'm not sure I'd be much use at this distance. Surely there will be a poor soul on the commute who needs to pass the time ;)

Sending lots of 'feel better soon' vibes x

  • Thanks giblet, yes i have really reduced my coffee intake lately :) Which is very MSE as the other thing i drink regularly is water :D

I have enjoyed reading your diary so far - i will post when i've caught up :) - you sound really focused and motivated :D

You are right with my day off in the week - i find if i am not doing much i justify it by saying 'this is part of my weekend' - i have felt guilty in the past about being at home and my Mr going into work but of course he is at home on Saturday whilst i am working and i am sure he doesn't feel guilty about that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope all is good with you - and everyone else of course :D Its late and i am off to bed taking my revision with me - feels good to have accomplished so much today but also know i need to look after my health and make sure i get enough sleep / rest to see me through the weekend shift too x
