Retro mum teenage spots?! My @rse! I still get them now. I think mine are a combination of hormones and make up use. I switched to mineral make up a couple of years ago and my skin improved a great deal as it contains zinc.
Wantobe I have a mobile hairdresser, much better in comfort of my own home. Have you ever sought help for it? Hugs for you xxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

I should have known really my dad had them from about 9 to 14 year old, my mum from 13 till about 50! I got my first spot at about 9 and the only time they ever went was when I breastfed.0

Thanks for the support re the trichotillomania.
Bitsy- i am actually having therapy at the moment for some trauma related experience, and have spoken about this issue. The therapist assures me she can help me with it...fingers crossed!
Re my new skin routine. My face is generally looking brighter, but as soon as i use anyy type of moisturiser, the white heads come back (yuk!!). Does anyone know if this means i have oily skin? I do have generally oily skin, but get dry patches..so i bought a moisturiser for combination skin, but even this makes me breakout in spots! Any advice?0 -

Good Morning All
Hope you all had a lovely day. My boys spoilt me something rotten.:D
We had a wonderful time, managed to get OH into the bungalow - he was very happy, smiling and dozing.
The fish tank was a big hit….
Time to tidy up and start the day….0 -
I think this year may have been my most relaxed Christmas ever
It was lovely to take time out to spend with family and to hear what they have been up to and see them relaxed and happy.
There was nothing for me to do but sit and soak up the atmosphere while being looked after and well fed, it was heavenly. My family also chose a selection of gifts that will help me to feel and look fabulous including a makeup set, skin care regime and loads of snuggly PJ's.
Now I have all the tools available to me I just need to use them!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Well Day One of the New Me
I'm sipping some freshly squeezed real orange juice - none of your carton stuff. Vit C in a glass;)
From now on my day will start with either fresh juice or a fruit smoothie.
Going to tuck into a salad at some point later.
I'm going to aim for 7 portions of fruit/veg or salad a day.
I've got a couple of packs of sprouting seeds - the sort you can grow on a windowsill. Apparently no soil required, kitchen roll or blotting paper will do. Going to sow some today….0 -
Had a really wonderful Christmas Day yesterday. Food was lush, everyone was happy, very spoilt with presents. Good time was has by all.
Today I am chilling after busy day, just about to have a hop into a bubble bath. Might treat myself to a bit of a pamper session. Painted my toes the other night, need to do a bit of TLC on the fingernails
Lots of left over food, lots of chocs etc. I am really glad I didn't buy any for us as these were all presents and we'd have double the amount. Am determined not to graze on rubbish for the sake of it.
Have a lovely Boxing Day everyone x

Had a look at The Regime the other day and going to have a go with that. need to pop to a pharmacy to get some bp 2.5% and perhaps get a mild facewash and moisturiser. I used to love cetaphil, but its so expensive! I'm still eating and drinking today as we have a second christmas for stepson (although gone for buffet style today as couldnt bear the thought of cooking), however going to start eating well tomorrow!0

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. Relaxed with family and OH bought me nearly the entire Soap & Glory range (he found somewhere it had been hugely discounted) so I have no excuse not to start looking after my skin.
Fabbing starts now, if I can get into a better daily routine during this week off work, then I should be able to continue it when the mornings become manic again.0
