And that I think aptly demonstrates my point. :rotfl:

Because, of course, that can never happen _within_ the limit?

I haven't agreed or disagreed with anyone on this thread.

My original point was that it is common, on this board especially, for threads to descend into personal arguments with the original discussion or point lost in the crossfire of claim and counter claim and accusations.

This does seem to be from the same few posters who carry over their disagreements from one thread to another and seem to be in a point scoring contest.

That may be the case with some posters. However not the case with my posts, which have been on topic.

You seem to be the one who has only come onto the thread to criticise others.

I read it all. I merely quoted the relevant bit to my reply - otherwise, replies with quoted text get unwieldy.

    In what way?

If you mean illegal parking then yes.

Does it matter? Illegal parking, murdering people in the back of the van, bit of credit card fraud ion tinternet in the van.......all against the law. Why would some of them be OK?

    No it doesn't matter.

You didn't see the van so how could you see in the back?

I know what you are doing. You are quoting snippets as if the rest of my post doesn't exist, and this appears to completely change what I have said. But the rest of the post is important, and shouldn't be ignored.

Because there are certain exemptions to the law for certain organisations/vehicles.

So they aren't actually breaking the law at all.
