That chart is really neat, a good motivator I think:D
:eek:to hubby and the tobacco, but it is great that you can now cover it, you really have moved forward a long way thanks to YNAB and your persistence haven't you?

P.S. have you checked ahead to find the other 5 week months coming up so that you can have a grand plan ready?

Afternoon all
Well the postman came today and he bought the parcel that "wantabetterlife" had sent :j.
I will send you a pm, but I also want to post on here how amazing your clothes parcel was. Every single piece is fantastic and they all look brand new .
I thought they looked abit big but when she tried them on they are all perfect, with plenty of growing in room.
I dont think I can thank you enough if I tried. Dd did a little fashion show for me when she got home, trying all the outfits on. She is so happy.
Thank you again. xxxx0 -

Thats brilliant Steph...you are more than welcome
Have you finished dave ramseys book yet? I started reading it again for the second time last night...total addict :rotfl::rotfl:
When you start clearing the mortgage you can join us on the MFW board. I have a diary over there but need to post on it more often. Clearing the mortgage feels like it is never going to end and it is really hard to keep the momentum going. As one poster said its like trying to eat an elephant one bite at a time

Yes I am slowly ploughing through Dave Ramsey's book although its taking some time as I only have time to read at bedtime and if I am not careful it sets my brain racing and then I can't get to sleep.
Do love his radio show though and listen to it on my phone any chance I get.
I can't wait to get started on the mortgage, although I appreciate how it is hard to keep going. Just paying a few hundred off extra each month makes such a difference to the length of the mortgage though, its amazing.
Will join you end of next hopefully0 -
Just wanted to say you are doing so well! Keep at it, all those little steps will be worth it and they all add up. And keep going with the craft - if you sell one item a week at £20 that's £80 - a week's food for 4? Not bad, and I bet you can sell that, the stuff is beautiful.0

Thank you so much Doobop.
It all feels very slow at the moment as I have been roped into a Pop up Restaurant event at my childrens school which seems to be taking over everything. I am not earning but I am also not spending so could be worse.
Hopefully when hubby gets paid this weekend, i can make the first debt payments for June. Feels like ages since I paid some towards it.

Have just stumbled across your diary - what progress you've made in such a short time!
Hopefully I can pick up some of your pointers by subscribing and reading along your journey.0 -

Thanks DearLouise,
I feel I have stalled slightly as we have our 2 x MOT's and 2 x Car taxes to deal with during June but as long as I don't ADD to the debt then I am fine.
I always knew this month was going to be a nightmare so am trying to go with the flow.
Thanks for joining me xxx0 -
But the key about the car expenses is you've been planning for them for months :A.
I love how your signature looks. What really strikes me is that as well as fully paying off a couple of debts, everything has gone down by a noticeable chunk. I think once Next goes you will really start to see the snowball kick in.0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37
AFD March 2/15 NSD March 2/11 :T
Other debts paid since 1/1/14: £17,0050
