  • That's annoying about the electric DD...do you have one of those owl things to monitor usage? At lease the increase is offset by the council tax. How is the craft selling in the shop going?

    Afternoon all.

Made my last three debt payments for March today
    (£50 Barclays OD / £100 Co-op Cc / £130 Tesco cc)

I have succeeded in my two March Mini goals - Pay over 1k towards debt and also get into the 17k region. :T yay to me.

Can't wait to get on with April now. That will be similar again. Pay 1k towards debts and then get debt Total to 16k.

Hoping to pay off 10k during 2014 and I am 30% into that goal.

I have mentally split the debt over two years. 10k for each year. If I carry on with the 1k per month then I will only have about 8k left to target next year and that will be such a fantastic feeling.

Have put myself under a little bit of pressure next week as I have agreed to go to a craft fair next Saturday, and I have no crafts made yet to sell . Going to be a frantic week of sewing I feel.

Anyway that's my post for today done. Feeling quite optimistic about it all. I just have to make sure I keep my misc spends down to zero as this is what adds up and ruins my target.

Been a little naughty on and off during March so got to be careful.

    Enjoy your weekend
  • HI Steph, well done with all the progress and good news about changing the CT even though it's now going to Electri but at least it's not another £40 on top.

Not long until April, I can't believe how quickly the year is going already! I'm sure your 1k will be achieved for another month.

    Keep it going C x

Thanks Chrysalis, like you said, I guess at least its not an extra £40. :o

I found 13 Nintendo DS game cases in the back of a cupboard yesterday. So I dug out all the corresponding DS games and have listed them all on Ebay today.

I have done low starting prices of .99p as I definitely want them to sell, but have noticed a lot of them seem to go for around £7-£10. That would be fantastic. Either way, my children to not play on their Ds's anymore so may as well sell them.

Fingers crossed that may be around £100 for debt repayment next week. :T

You will do a dance the day you pay off B=card Steph and rightly so :)

You are doing very well, your March total is excellent...keep going.

What about ebay...I haven't listed anything at all.

Thank you for your replies wantabetterlife and Sweetpea,

I WILL be so happy when I have paid off the Barclayc#rd, although Arg#s and the Barclayc#rd are/were my smallest debts. It's going to feel a lot slower once I move onto the next ones with totals around the £1500 mark.

I am frantically making craft items this week as have a craft fair to go to this Saturday. Hopefully I will make some money there. I am making things out of stuff I already have, so classing it as 100% profit hehe.

Hoping upon hope that the DS games I listed Saturday jointly reach £100 as that would be a lovely chunk off my Barclayc#rd.

Nothing much to report today. No bills gone out, no money to pay debts. Just waiting for my tax credit to go in on the 27th and then I can pay the mortgage. Last bill of the month :T.

Hope you all have lots of debt busting plans going on. Speak soon xx

    Hi Steph

I hope that you have the sewing machine whirring away:D

Frosty and sunny start here this morning, need to get on and do some housework or gardening but not really in the mood for either:eek: This morning's post brought a summons for Jury service in May, whilst I accept the need to do my civic duty and I have done Coroners Jury when in Dorset, it is an absolute pain to get to, (over 50 miles return trip) so I am not a very happy bunny this morning:(

Feel as sick as a dog this morning too, so that doesn't help my mood. (Administers swift kick at own rear and goes off to get motivated)

I hope that you have a productive day.

    MM xx
