to the phone bill. I had a monster bill end of last year, I had budgeted for so much per day data use when on holiday, and it was fine in europe, but I obviously did not switch off data input properly and got clobbered for quite a lot of quids when we reached Russia, totally my own fault, though still a pain.
Keep plodding Steph, and good luck with the craft fair and the e-baying. I will contact you next week when you have the craft fair under your belt about the cover I need for my iron:D

Hi SS,
I too can feel your pain with regards to surprising mobile bills.. I went to NY in 2012 and was very good and turned off data roaming but unknown to me my phone wasn't set up properly and everytime I sent a text longer than 28 letters it sent it over 2/3 texts which landed me with a bill over £100.... Luckily I convinced Vodafone that as they sold me the phone and it was set up in russian or something it was there fault and they went halves with me...
I too agreed with all the others to get the money together for the mortgage and then continue on the debt busting journey, but at the end of the day its your decision..
Hope the crafting/sewing is going well and you make oodles of dosh at the fair at the weekend...
Much love

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY LADIES xx:heartpuls
Thank you for all your kind words over the last few days. It has been hectic to say the least and I have missed my daily diary updates on here. Somehow the days went by and I just didn't get the chance to log on.
Not too much to report financially. I made a MASSIVE £20 sale at the craft fair yesterday, so I have paid that off against my Barclayc#rd , Now in the £200's at £294 :T. Have paid off £454 to this CC during March which I am pleased with.
I did take a few orders at the craft fair, so not a total dud and I did enjoy a lovely chat with friends new and old.
After the craft fair the children and I visited my mum who is in a residential home in Poole. It was a lovely sunny day so after our visit we went on a hunt for the beach and spent a lovely two hours making sand castles. It was fab. I was abit naughty and treated us to an extortionate tray of chips each and the kids had a slushie (£10 spent ), but I have used my FUN money for it, so not an overspend really.
Ebay items are finishing today. still getting slightly caught out with Ebay fees. Still got more to sell today but at the moment after fees and postage charges I will have made a whopping £5. The Ebay charges are obviously from past stuff I have sold so not been very clever really. Nevermind. Hopefully the last few things will sell well and give me abit more ACTUAL profit.
Enjoy Mothers day. I am off to do some watering in the polytunnel and then have a browse through some diaries on here.

Just wanted to post a copy of my Achievements during March before I wipe it clean and set Aprils targets.
Felt abit sad having to wipe it off as I'm scared I won't be able to do as well this month.
It might also help to remind me of what is ACTUALLY possible if I put my mind to it.0 -
Wow the figures for March are great, you should be very proud of all your hard work. Am sure April will also be a fab debt busting month for you.
Your day out with the children sounds lovely - I just wish we could get some of that weather up here! Glad you got some orders at the craft fair and made a little money. £20 made is £20 less debtMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.9.25 - £105,664.31

Super figures for March, well done. Sorry the craft fair did not bring in more cash, but lots of other positives and a lovely visit to Poole.
Took a card to my Ma this morning, no physical present, as for Christmas and M's day I suggested that we had a few little outings with lunch and she was pleased with that idea. We have been out once so far and will schedule another one soon. It's quite time consuming as have to drive to collect her, load up her walker and/or the wheelchair which weighs a ton and she can only walk at a snail's pace, (and she hates going out in the rain, so that ruled out all Jan & Feb:rotfl:)but it is good to be able to spend time with her after living so fas away for 30 years, I just have to remember to allow loads of time:D:D
I am soooo tired today, how can 1 hour make such a difference to my bodyclock?:(The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Hi Steph..you are doing great and even if Aprils figure isn't as high it is still a massive achievement and you need to recognise that and don't be hard on yourself.
You have convinced me to start up an envelope system ever since you posted that Dave Ramsey link. I had never heard of him before and now my hubby keeps taking the pi** out of me at every spend saying "what would dave think?" half rolling his eyes and half loving the thought of getting this flaming mortgage paid!!

Hey Steph
You've done amazingly well in March - well done! :j
I have total faith that April will be just as good for you too. That Barclaycard will be gone in a week or two!!
Hope you did okay with your ebay sales xx0
