Hi Steph,
All sounding lovely and positive over here..! Apart from naughty nasty Tesco's of course..
Very well done on clearing Littlewoods... and definately agree with all the others that savings now have to be the priority and then more debt busting can commence.
Sounds like lots of lovely treatments = money could be coming your way and fingers crossed that OH gets the job he has quoted for.

Hi Steph,
I read your diary every day but don't post very often, but like some of the others I have been willing you to finish paying of the Littlw@@ds account - well done on this achievement, it seems to have given you a boost just at the right time!!
With regard to T@sco, could you write a letter from your husband giving them permission to speak to you about the account (with his sig at the bottom). You could add in some reason why he can't speak to them on the phone and give authority to you? I have done this before with Insurance policies that are in my OH name but it is me that deals with them.
just a thought.
Good luck with the rest of your debt busting,:rotfl:

Thanks for you replys Puzzcat & DippityDooDah,
Hubby got the job he quoted for :j. Its only about 3-4 weeks work but still that's enough to keep us going with the hopes that something else will come up in the meantime.
I typed up the letter the Tesco's with a StepChange Financial assessment form completed. thought seeing their name on the forms might make them realise I am serious. In a bit of good timing, I had a letter come through from them yesterday saying some bumpf about arrears etc. On it was a totally different address than I had sent letters to before. It was a Credit card collections address, so I have sent my letter to them. Hopefully it will go straight to the right place and get more success.
I also had a perfect moment across the kitchen table with hubby at lunchtime. I showed him the Annual statement from Tesco's and told him how because he doesn't like to speak to anyone on the phone it cost us over £800 last year.
I explained how I could possibly get that stopped if I could talk to them. So I told him that shortly after posting this letter, I will start answering the 0844/0800 numbers that call and one of them is bound to be Tesco.
I said I would hand the phone to him and he was to speak to them to give me authority to deal with his account.
He seemed fine with it all so that is the plan. Loads further than I have ever gotten with him before and I am hopeful that I can get this card's interest frozen soon. It will be such a massive help if I can.
Still waiting for hubby to get paid. Fingers crossed it will be today or tomorrow and then the last of the bills can be paid and I can kiss goodbye to miserable February.
Not much else to report really. I got very annoyed with one of our neighbours this morning and then annoyed with myself
I got back from the school run in my car, just pulling on the drive, to see one of his dogs (Never on a lead) doing a poo right on the side of our driveway. I frowned at him and then his dog and pulled onto the drive.
I then saw him walk back past later on and he still didn't pick up the poop. I am not sure who I am more angry with though, him or me for not growing a pair and speaking to him about it.. I have made a promise to myself that next time I see him I will mention it. There are so many fields around here, he really has no need to be letting hit dogs poop on my driveway with two children. Aaarrggghhh
Ok vent over. Have a great day all xxx0 -

I take 1 x 1000mg tablet.
I used to buy from my local pharmacy but they stopped selling the one I liked so I now buy from Amazon also.
I believe Steph is taking 1 x 1000mg also.
Just wondering how hyper and happy I would be if I took 2:rotfl:0
