Morning
Haha you guys make me laugh with your Easter suggestions :T.
Disco Dolly - So glad you like the 100 square idea. I stole it from someone else, but I really love the visual progress you can see. Really helps keep the motivation going.
I managed to sell my sons old Xbox and a couple of games yesterday so £76 has gone into our account :T. I am totally loving Hermes Couriers atm. £3.98 to collect the parcel from my home and delivery it signed for. :j. amazing price. I have no clue how they do it. I charged £10 for delivery as I didn't have much clue so I am in profit for that also.
I have two more items finishing soon which will be about another £30.
If I managed to have all NSD's until the end of January then we should get through ok.
Got to say I am still totally in love with YNAB. So lovely the feeling of control you have with your money.
My recent Ebaying success has made me want to start searching for more things to buy. I have often thought about visiting car boots for things I can paint or just resell for profit on Ebay. Especially now I know Hermes is so cheap to post.
Have any of you tried buying things on purpose to resell?. Not sure what yet, would have to be non fragile I guess.
Not much else to report. Just the poor old mortgage left to pay now, should be able to do that once my Children Tax Credit comes in tomorrow.
I had better start tidying up before my friend arrives later.
Still really pleased that I have those Spa treatments booked in. they have been really quiet lately but I guess that's the time of year.
Hope you all are ok this dreary looking Tuesday, think we have some bad weather coming in the end of the week. Hope its not snow .

Hi Steph! Really good to hear you're much chirpier and feeling more positive! Funny how a small success or two seem to spur us on, eh? January's nearly over -- it's been a long month and I for one am ready for February..Xmas and New Year seem centuries ago! Brilliant debt-busting...keep it up! :-)
We made a phone call here yesterday to cancel a couple of things which we took out without really thinking, so we're a bit happier about that. Fortunately we'd only paid a few months' contributions so not too costly...nevertheless, we're pleased, all the same!
Sunshine here today, so got a bit of a spring in my step straight away -- hope it's sunny where you are too! :-)SPC 0930 -
You certainly seem to have a spring to your step Steph. Delighted to hear that you are feeling more chirpy. I hope you get more treatments booked in over the coming months as they certainly seem lucrative!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Glad the spa have got some more work for you too, hopefully with lots of people getting their first post-christmas paycheck at the end of the week the spa work will pick up a bit.

Morning all,
Thank for all the replies.
Only a quick post as have to dash off to my cleaning job in 5 minutes.
Annoyingly the spa cancelled two of my booked treatments, so my wages go down from £130 to £65 .
Keep telling myself that if I hadn't have had four booked, I would have still been thrilled with two bookings.:o
Waiting on Childrens Tax Credits to go in to give me the last bit of money to pay the mortgage. Then I am all done for January.
Hubbys wage this weekend has to go into the February pot as I have quite a few bills going out in the first week of the month.
Scarily this might be hubby last week on his kitchen re-fit . He has the vague hope of some ceilings to plaster but otherwise NOTHING!!!!
Hope to god it all sorts itself out otherwise we are in the poop again. I hate it that we haven't got a safety net, Even Dave Ramsey would be mad with me as I have never managed to build up that £1,000 Emergency fund. At times like this I can see why we should really prioritise it
Oh well, got to fly. Speak later xxx0 -

Very annoying about the spa Steph. It's a shame you don't get some sort of cancellation fee. Are there any other local spas that you could work with too? Or can you do a leaflet drop in your local village with your range of treatments!
Am crossing my fingers that your OH gets some work. Maybe you could pay just the minimum payments on your debt for the time being and save up that £1000 to give you some peace of mind? I know it would delay things, but it seems like it would be less stressful for you to know you have a buffer there.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
