I am terrible for critising my own cakes and my MIL makes them to order professionally so I never do. I love making them though.
I should, just for fun.
Meals out are great in principal until we have to pay. If we have a mcdonalds (which I try not to) that is the best part of 15 pounds for the 4 of us.
makes you think when we can get loads of shopping in Lid1 or Ald1 for 15 pounds. heavens sake, thats four bottles of ald1 wine!
Glad things are going well at the moment xxTrying to shift that debt!0 -
Great progress Steph. I am the same I would have every scenario imaginable running through my head.
Well done on the littwds payment...they will soon be gone. Keep going0 -
Phew - great news about the treatments and the spa - and a lesson to us all - we can all play things in our minds and tend to imagine the worst. But customer recommendations? That is the complete opposite of what you were imagining so hold that next time you have any doubts. You are obviously good at this or people wouldn't be recommending you to their friends!0

Gosh it's looking amazing. Not that long ago it felt like N*xt was taking ages to go. Suddenly, it's gone and Lwoods also been seriously depleted. I know the £73 meal was probably scary after all your hard work but I tend to agree that you had to pay for your friend in the circumstances. Clear conscience and all that
Also fab about the spa and the other treatments. Hooray for that course you did, it's really working out well isn't it?0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37

Well done paying off N£XT, onwards with the snowball! :j:T:T
We had a bit more money come in this week and we've managed to pay off the last bit of a credit card :j:j
It's such a great feeling when you can hide that category in YNAB :j
Glad you plucked up the courage to text the spa as well. Here's hoping they'll get you some more work soon, especially as the kids are at school and you don't have to worry about childcare!
Good Luck with the detox. I'm not sure if I'd be able to do it - I love food too much! I am however walking 20 mins to school and 20 mins back twice a day every day now, so I'm hoping that will help me shift some of this baby weight, combined with using My Fitness Pal to count calories
Keep busting that littlew00ds debt and you'll be steaming along.
That reminds me - I need to update my signature :rotfl:

Thanks for all your replies.
I'm in my second Detox day off the caffeine. Been feeling a little headachey and tired, but hanging in there.
I did my reflexology booking this morning, I really enjoyed it but feel quite wiped out now. Arms are aching.
I had a sneaky look back through the bookings diary at last week and they have only had 2 ladies in over that period so not surprised I didn't get any bookings.
I did my treatment to the lady who was referred to me yesterday and she reckons she is going to book in regularly, so fingers crossed. If the Spa is going to have a lot of quiet periods then I need to build up my own client base asap.
So pleased to see Next gone and Littlewoods knocked down quite abit. I have three more debts to pay this month totalling £390, so that will take me into the 11k region :T.
I feel I am well on track to get below 10k by the end of the year. Three more months to go, if I can do at least 1k per month, then I should easily do it.
Next year will be utterly amazing to be on the home run with less than 10k. Can't wait.
Off to make another juice for my lunch0 -

Hi lhead,
What a nightmare!!. I hate the worry that Childrens Tax Credit or someone might suddenly want their money back. How come they want all of that back?. Have you suddenly got more money coming in?. Got to be careful sometimes that the loss isn't more than you gain.
Don't let this set back stop you from going for your goals. Hopefully you can pay it back in instalments so you don't feel it too badly.
Well done on paying off the credit card. You will get there xx

Morning all,
Just balanced YNAB against my bank statement. Its tight but should all get paid and done with this weekends last wage of the month.
Got to go and brave the veg plot this morning. I have slightly abandoned it the last month or so and it is a big job to tackle.
Not great timing when I am only drinking juices, not really got much energy.
Should be a NSD today, not got any plans.
Hope you all have a good one xxx0
