Thumbs up for DPD from me:beer:
have had 4 parcels so far I changed one to be delivered to next door on their website and the other 3 arrived within their 1 hr timeslots

so much better than myherpes yohell 5hity link
  • The reviews suprise me. I have nothing but good things to say about them and I like their text system. I guess disgruntled customers are more likely to write a review. What must Yodel reviews be like?

In fact, I've just looked and all the delivery companies are poorly rated -- CityLink 1.1/5.
    Je suis sabot...
  • Some more DPD reviews: http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews262116.html

In fairness there are some good reviews posted here and there, so it seems a little short-sighted to suggest only people with bad experiences post reviews as clearly that's not the case.

My own experience with them has been very poor (which is why I won't use Amazon Prime again). However I think it comes down to the driver for your area. Some are great, some not so good.

Yodel funnily enough is better rated than both DPD and its subsidiary Interlink Express (only just though).
  • Their online tracking is rubbish.

I was awaiting a parcel from Amazon via DPD and got an email from DPD with a link to a tracking page and saying that my parcel would be delivered between 18:05 and 19:05.

So I track my parcel, on google maps, it is no 114 and the driver is making delivery 5.

as the day progresses the little red van on google maps gets nearer and nearer and the driver's delivery number increases.

At 17:59 I see on the map that the van is in the next street over and there are 2 deliveries still to be made.

Then my doorbell rings and when I answer the door there is my parcel, 6 minutes early and the tracking map showing the van still in the next street.

Last time I believe their tracking map.

Are you seriously taking my post seriously?
  • I have received two parcels from DPD in the last month and both times I had an email the night before, also a text on the day of the delivery stating what time the delivery would be made.
