What pile of rubbish that site is, in the old card based days a vacancy advertised in more than one job centre counted multiple times.

The point you make seems to corroborate what the site is saying.

    Garbage in garbage out.

The real driver for interest rate hikes will be the impact on borrowers. By now everyone with a mortgage is enjoying the benefit of low rates, not just the recent buyers as was the case in the very beginning of zirp.

Don't expect anything dramatic to happen any time soon. You might see a 0.25% rise at the back end of next year and then same again the following year.

It is only died in the wool snobs that give them a wide berth these days. You don't need to pay for all the bells and whistles of the big four. Groceries are groceries. The fact you don't get such wide choice is a benefit as there is less to detract and tempt you.

It is change in shopping culture in the same way people migrated to online shopping.

The big four need to sort out their game.

There is generally an awful lot of new plated, upmarket metal, in the car park at ours.

  • It pleases the analysts and the markets when Unemployment figures go down. Doesn't matter if the figures are more fiddled than an MP's expense claim. Just as long as the figures go down.

Some years ago. When Lidl's first opened in Newbury. Shoppers used to walk out with Marks and Spencer bags before depositing their shopping into the boots of their Mercedes.
