Yay!!! Well done on the exam lovely!! Very proud and I am sure you will ace the next one too!!

CV having all these additional courses and qualifications added to it? Very good!! Haven't updated mine in years, as haven't even looked at a new job. I probably should but to be honest it is easier to stay where I am comfortable and way overpaid for what I do. Like I said, I get an excess in tax credits etc that going back to work full time actually earns me about £4k a year less, whilst adding £4k to childcare costs. Who wants to work an extra 13 hours a week (I do 24) and end up 8k a year worse off?!?!
I am sure your CV ill bring you results!! Stay optimistic!!
xx

Hi guys, thank you for the CV support.
I am going to have a bit of a mope, so you might want to miss this post.
Offered to speak to a man's boss who has recently been diagnosed with fibro. We've never met/spoken before but I called her today, we spoke for 40 minutes and she reminds me so much of myself a few years ago. The day I was told I'd be in a wheelchair if I didn't improve. Sleeping through days and days. Just everything to do with fibrofog. It takes so long to learn to cope and so long to learn to walk again that it's just... I don't know. I hate the thought of someone else going through it. The first part is awful because it's terrifying and lonely. It's horrible to see someone starting it all over again.
Sorry for being mopey.0 -
Lots of love Peaty. I have the utmost respect for you, because you fought through all of that and are where you are now. My sister got the diagnosis, and just decided that was it. In a wheelchair for 3 years now. Tube fed, paralysed stomach. She gave up. You came so much further than she could ever hope to because you are a fighter!

Sending lots of love KP - it's a testament to your tenacity and strength that you've come through so much, and are doing so well despite how difficult it must be at times.
Sorry to hear about your sister lilt. I can imagine it must feel easier to give up in one way, but such a shame if there can be an alternative.
KP - feel free to share anything; happy to listen anytime. Thinking of you xDebt remaining:

Hi guys! Thank you for being so supportive. You are so sweet!
I didn't know that someone could get a paralysed stomach  Hope she has a turn around.
I'll be honest, I was mopey about the above for a fair few days. Think it was just a knee jerk reaction, but now I'm much more happy. Especially after reading your kind messages. I may not be logged in but I read on my phone most days
So! I went on holiday! To Looe in Cornwall, it's a lovely place. It's very steep, super steep and many things are super solid. I say this because I have never headbutt so many things in such a short time in my life. First I headbutt the wall, my bed at home is against the wall on the right, in the room I was staying in- left. My alarm went off and long story short, I had a large red bump on my forehead for three-four days. Then I hit a light shade wooden ball thing with my hand, it promptly bounced off my head into a lit candle. Finally I managed to headbutt a castle. A real one. I'm 5 foot 2! I'm not used to having to look where my head is! Hit it so hard that I felt a bit queezy :rotfl::rotfl:
Had loads and loads of fun, however did spend loads and loads of money.:eek: I spent £95 on a necklace alone. In my defence, it is very pretty and silver and... pretty... I also got my sister a christmas present, my mum a christmas present, myself some boots, cake, food, cake... lots of fudge. Nom. Oh and dvds from charity shops, now a proud owner of 4 robocop films (£2), 2 B-horror movies (£2), 28 days later (£2) and Ray (£2).
Ate much. Much, we shouldn't go into it otherwise you'll think I'm disgusting (I am).
Went to this little museum, it's great. At first it made sense, it covered the origins of the town, the port, the mine.. then it got distracted and decided to tell us about British Gas. Then the history of diving suits and the RNLI and the Titanic (the movie *cough*)
Overall, had a great time but dropped some IQ points.0 -
Killerpeaty, I have just subscribed and have been trying to catch up. I"ve just been reading about your call from Epic James and was in stitches.
Its going to take me an age to catch up, but well done on passing your exams - :T:T That is fantastic.
I've also been in stitches about your poor bumped head - :rotfl::rotfl: Sorry, but the thought of you walking around with your red bump and then hitting it again not once but twice. Its really not funny I know, but it sounds like a Mr Bean movie or something. Hope you are feeling better and your poor head recovers. Do you think you should wear a crash helmet??? :rotfl: Sorry (but you could wear some goggles too? like mighty ant). :rotfl: (ps I also withdraw the offer to declutter with you - it may be too dangerous :rotfl:).
Sorry
, I'll go and finish cooking dinner now, and look forward to reading the rest later.
Take Care
SS x
I was subscribed anyway - why have I not been catching up with you? I think because I've been a bit absent lately - back now though!OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

That is all.
Also: KP Paralysed stomach came from refusing to eat for so long that they had a tube in there feeding her, and eventually her stomach just stopped working. Gastroparesis they call it. A not often reversed problem unfortunately but one she brought on herself.
Looe!! WoWza, expensive place, but so worth visiting. I am glad you had a lovely yet bumpy time. Think of it as a souvenir. A little bit of brain damage from a very old castle
Necklace sounds... pretty
- yay for present buying! You're officially more organised than me and Christmas is in October as far as presents are concerned for me
Lotsa love xx

No worries SS, I'm very boring really no need to keep up with little old me. But yes, I will probably invest in a crash helmet for my next holiday. It's for the best. :P
Oh god, I think you told me about paralysed stomach before! I think I blocked it out.:eek::eek:

Sounds awful.
Christmas was just an afterthought really, I think you're more organised than me as it was accidental...
So grumpy time!
Ex decided today to tell me that he's going on a date this weekend. !!!!!!? It was out of the blue, one minute I was telling him he's old then next he was telling me about a date with a woman his own age. He's a man child! It says a lot about someone when their plan to buy their house is to wait for his mum to die (seriously).
Made me a right sour puss for the whole day! I came home and did something I never thought I'd do, I signed up to a dating site. A free one. I had complements, I feel better. What can I say, I'm shallow.
The thing that gets me is that I am being civil to him, I mean, I did tell him to never think of me a woman again but I speak to him and not insult him all the time. I insult everyone. So.. He's a poo.
Time for bed. Night night0 -

PMSL Peaty - your ex's new date sounds like she will walk in, see that he is not in fact anywhere near her age... and promptly upon discovering his plans for the future (anyone thinking Howard from Big Bang?) will be off to make better plans of her own that don't include him!!
Sounds like you're well shot of him but you will always be a bit cut up by these things. I broke up with my ex and it was the best thing I ever did. 3 years on, he got a girlfriend for the first time since our split and I stalked her FB a little bit.. Got over it 2 weeks later when she got over him that quickly :rotfl:
Anyways you don't have to be nice to him! Sounds like he isn't being that nice to you!! And I love people who insult others all the time in banter
Huggles!
