I think that's down to your own personal preference. If you enjoy the cinema experience then go and watch the film. If not, watch it at home. :)

I've just found it for a tenner on Amazon but tell me somebody, why is such an old film attracting so much interest?

I just picked up War Horse for a fiver in Tesco today and it's much more recent.

    Am I missing something?

That's what it appears like to me, but why this film all of a sudden?

Are you kidding me??? It's the best Christmas film ever, IMHO. :D :A

I'm sad Tara. I've gone for the last 3 years or so.

I don't disagree Tara. I'm just not a very Christmassy person or indeed one who enjoys that genre of films. :o To be honest I'm not much of a film buff at all. I'm a bit boring in that respect as I prefer documentaries and reading history.

Yes, my wife is terribly frustrated with me. :p

Has anybody ever seen John Wayne's "3 Godfathers"? It's a great Christmas movie but nobody seems to have seen it.

I'm not into the Duke but if anyone wants to see it I know you can get it for £3 off Amazon. http://www.amazon.co.uk/3-Godfathers-DVD-John-Wayne/dp/B0001XLY7E
