Seeing my girlfriends Dad and his partner on Saturday having a carvery in a nice pub and then back to theirs for drinks. Monday I am seeing my parents and my sister, bro in law and my niece. Xmas day is just me and my girlfriend. Can do what we want when we want.

It varies. This year OH and I are going away with his parents.
A few years we have gone to OH's family.
Few years spent on our own.
I don't mind what we do - I enjoy it just being OH and I some years as like not having to communicate or be social!!!0 -

OH, our 8 year old and I are going to my parents' house on 23rd December, and Isaac and I will stay until New Year. OH will probably come back to London about 28th or 29th. It's what we do every year.
I love spending Christmas with my family - OH, our son, my parents, my sisters and brother, my uncles and an aunt. One sister and my brother live at my parents' place, the other sister lives half a mile away from them. It's the best time of the year to spend several days together, enjoying each other's company and having a wonderful time.
OH is Jewish, so no competing family arrangements for Christmas. I doubt we'll watch much televsion, we never do at Christmas. We'll play a lot of card games, chess, etc, and go for long wet cold walks with the dogs....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
A couple of years ago I made plans to go out with a friend who'd grown up in the same village as I had. She was 'home' for the Christmas break as she normally lives an hour away and was genuinely shocked that I drove through to pick her up from my own home 30 minutes away. She just assumed that I'd be spending the Christmas week at my parents' house. I had to explain that I own a perfectly nice flat with my husband within an easy distance so why would I stay with my parents just because it's Christmas?!

My in-laws live even closer than my parents so there's no need to stay with them either. Maybe if they all lived further away we'd consider it but in all honesty, we'd probably just stay home.
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
