    Morning all,

Happy birthday To BB have a great day xxxx

Tru my favourite Christmas song yay, been waiting for that one x

Off to work for dd and I, will drop the dog off at my mums first, did an online shop for my Christmas food last night price was much less than I would have spent going to the shop, so pleased with that, will just need to go to a local shop which does the most delish cheese, might do that Thursday to get it out the way. Just the presents to wrap then I am done.

Spag bol for dinner tonight and I will do a wash and put it on the airer. Meeting an old friend for lunch tomorrow really looking forward to it.

    Have good days all xx
  • Morning :)

Been busy yesterday, went to the post office with the last parcels :) Took down, organised, audited and folded all DD1 clothing (3m-2y) ready for DD2. Took about 4 hours (with DH help for 2 hours) only to find I have not enough clothes in 9-12m as DD1 kind of skipt over it, and I've enough for THREE children in. 12-18m! Whoops!! I also managed 5 loads of washing too :/

Anyway today were weighing DD2 and taking DD1 to playgroup. During DD1 naptime I'm going to try and finish my wrapping while DH looks after DD2 :)

Dinner today is Beef Tikka Masala (made with leftover brisket) on jacket potatoes :)

I've had 2 of 3 play dates cancelled due to sickness this week, it's going around, and DS has it :(

I hope everyone has a great day x

TTFTM I hope this week goes by as fast as possible for you x

    Good morning everyone,

Happy Birthday Bargainbird :bdaycake:hope you have a lovely day and catch a glimpse of James M .

    TTFTM- on your behalf.

I am babysitting our Grandson this morning so I'm looking forward to that.DiL2b is having her nails done,a bit of me time will do her good.I want to do some ironing before I take the pup out, then a quick hoover when I get back before they come.Lylapup was a bit off yesterday and was sick, and slept all day.DH said she hadnt eaten her brekkie this morning but she's just had it now so hopefully she's ok.She's a real scavenger and picks up all sorts in the fields.

I popped to town yesterday to return a top that was the wrong size from Tkmax and ended up putting £6 to my refund and got a lovely thick jumper,a cardigan and a smart top in the clearance bit :j.The posh sparkly top I took back was meant to be for our night out last Saturday so I dont really need it now & and I'll get a lot more use out of these 3.

I peeled and precooked our roasties for C day and open froze them on trays, will bag them in a minute.I've done this the last few years and they've been fine & saves so much time on the day.I'm always scared there wont be enough so counted them-100,for 10 of us :D -think I'll be ok.I'll not take them all out and we'll use them on a Sunday afterwards.

Right better get going-hope you all have the best day you can x

Just a quick one this morning as running late and ds is playing up, we let him stay up an hour later last night, not doing that again cos he has been a right pain this morning!

Hope everyone has a lovely day....((hugs)) for those that need them x

Not much to report from me, I have finally done my Christmas shopping (30 mins in town, must a record) just need to wrap bits and we're all good to go!

Went for a run this morning - getting pretty good at it, if I do say so myself. Proud that I'm keeping to it mostly.

    Hi everyone,

    Happy birthday Bargainbird.

HH - KBO as Churchill used to say (Keep !!!!!!ing on).

I despair at some places, why can't they realise that you get more out of a contented workforce than an unhappy one.

Hurrah, I'm now up to date with the cleaning so for today it's a visit to the hairdresser, wrap dH's present (he did all the others last night), start packing for going away, ice the cake and finish a quilt top I'm sewing.

    Have a good day.

    Morning all,

Fine and dry here. Really pleased because my delivery arrived early so I can work in the kitchen without worrying I'll miss the door. We have a really loud bell, but most delivery drivers prefer to bang on the door instead, which I don't hear as the house is long and if any of the machines are running I can't hear it.

Anyway, WM is on, DW needs unloading, dinner is in the freezer and I just have a few bits of ironing to do before I carry on sorting out the hotspots.

Mr T delivery this afternoon - and I had a nice gift from Sainsbobs yesterday: a £7.50 voucher (no minimum spend) and two £5 off wys £40. Thank you nicely :D

Have a good day all x

    Happy Birthday BB

    Morning all,

happy Birthday Bargain bird :beer: my DIL says James Martin is lovely. She interviewed him lays year.
Tru belated Happy Anniversary. We always forget ours I'm hopeless but yesterday. Mid morning I realised it was my son and DIL first wedding Anniversary in Australia , can't believe a year has passed since the wedding. Anyway sent them a message and got my lovely SIL to nip round with some chocs phew!
I was so exhausted after shopping yesterday my legs are so stiff and uncomfortable and my right hip is bad, as it always is in t he cold weather. So a quieter day today hopefully.
Dropped DGS off at his friends for a play date as its his little friends 5th Birthday. Tonight Daddy will pick him up then he is back in school until Friday as they've fixed the boiler. My daughter is picking him up Friday then they have a pantomime and are staying with her fella so won't see him again until Sunday. It will be a long week without him but he's having fun which is the main things. He has so many gran's and grandads and aunts and uncles we have to share him:D
I watched Tom Kerridge last night, lovely food but so rich with butter. I'm sure if I used that much I would b sick.
I'm really interested in pre paring veggies, potatoes and mince pies to freeze etc. do people generally cook first or prepare cook and then freeze. Rosy do you cook your roasties completely?
I'm all done with shopping and almost everything is wrapped just food this week. It would be great if I could spend the weekend preparing the veg so I could actually join in on Christmas Day
Anyway enough waffle, have a nice day keep warm x

  • Morning :)

Lovely sunshine here today but it was very chilly first thing.
More Benny Hill speed cleaning today before rushing off to challenging behaviour course and then off to DS's Christmas production.
Just scoffing some tea and toast before I crack on.

Not sure about dinner, need to look at planner.

Hugs and spoons all round xx

Bargainbird happy birthday my lovely :beer: have a wonderful day x

Tru hope you and Mr Tru managed to remember long enough to celebrate last night in true Hester style :p:rotfl:

Hester not to sound preachy but maybe try and concentrate on the positives of your job eg it pays a wage, it has a pension etc etc sounds lame but I've found it helpful to focus on the positive aspects in order to endure the negative ones xxx
