Perhaps DP is not the best place to buy hard wearing shoes/boots you expect to last long
Yes they looked perfect.

Hi K9sandFelines,
How long have you had them? how often did you wear them? the sole of the boot looks worn in as you would expect froom heavy use?
If they are not an old design would you consider taking into a DP store? I did this with a pair I got off a friend - the heel had come off and they replaced with new shoes of same value (although it may have been that the sales assistant used to be a student of mine when I had the energy to work in teaching).0 -

Its ok now. I suggested a partial refund to the seller to which she agreed.
I'd had them about three weeks and worn them a handful of times, on the school run/around the shops; so no mountain climbing etc, the black bit (heel tack?) has just come clean off. The rest of the boot is immaculate. I think they are an old design but did think of going in the store. I think I will just buy a replacement now and put these in a shoe recycling bin.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 Jul £134.25/£150 Aug £119.37/£150 Sep £170.48?/£150 Oct £66.92/£180 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Could they not be repaired? My partner has had her boots repaired several times by the likes of Timpsons0

Not that it matters, but the first microwave I had never had a rotating turntable and worked for about 10 years satisfactorily

Was it designed that way? - I find if the turntable doesn't rotate one or two small patches of the food get charred to coal and the rest remains cold
I think....0 -

I will enquire. The way the heel has come away looks a bit awkward though if that makes sense.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 Jul £134.25/£150 Aug £119.37/£150 Sep £170.48?/£150 Oct £66.92/£180 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month.
