Do Jobcentre's expect us to still continue doing Jobseeking during the Christmas Period? and also New Year's Eve?
What if no Jobs are not advertised during Christmas? how are we expect to apply for Jobs?

If it is a normal working day then you are expected to be seeking work. New Years Eve is a normal working day.
As you have been advised countless times, jobseeking is about far more than applying for advertised vacancies. Perhaps you could reread some of your other threads for ideas of what you could be doing?0 -

Yes, you may not find any jobs to apply for. but you still need to take the steps as agreed in your jsag0 -

Perfectly understand that we should be job-searching over Christmas, plenty of people are at work over that period, however are we really expected to log in and record a search on Christmas day? To be honest I was hoping not to that day.0

Why not? Plenty of people will be working on Christmas Day so why would you not look for work on Christmas Day?0

True people do but they get the time off at another time. I job search every day during the year (including band holidays) I was just hoping to be able to have a pc free day on Christmas day. If I can't then fair enough I will job search (I am not that worried about it).0 -

Yes there are some jobs that go live on Xmas day just like they go live on Sat or Sunday as discussed already with the OPiammumtoone wrote: »Perfectly understand that we should be job-searching over Christmas, plenty of people are at work over that period, however are we really expected to log in and record a search on Christmas day?
