I'm doing much better on MySurvey than the globalmarket one, but then it's swings and roundabouts! All adds up

No work so far this week, but it's only Monday! Back onto my contracted hours from next Monday so hopefully will get a bit of overtime
feeling like I'm off to a bit of a slow burner but hopefully come February it will pick up.
I do find it hard not to 'treat' myself, especially when my mood is low. Stupid really
but I have been good so far and I will be good until the debt has gone. The idea of it is really motivating. Boyfriend treated me to some cute pyjamas (in the sale!) as my summer pjs are too big now so that was lovely of him.
Still only one non direct debit bill spend of this year! Oh and I found £1 in a locker at the gym, which goes into my £1 jar (save up loose change, money found on the floor etc, change it for a £1 coin!) that's for a kitchenaid when I eventually get my little cottage kitchen!0 -
I am the same love a wee treat.
Sometimes you just have to though otherwise your life is just same same sameeeeeeeeeee.
As long as you can do it in moderation then it is fine.

3.5 days of overtime this week! Probably will go to car bill but that's means contracted money can go to savings instead!0

Well done you!

So getting my car back tomorrow, all MOT'd and ready to go!
Had budgeted around £400 for repairs.
The bill is £85.
I could kiss my mechanic, seriously! (maybe thats why I get it so cheap...) Still have to wait on the warranty to be 100% sure but its all in our control now and my Dad can be quite tenacious and as far as I'm concerned the parts people are paying the labour as it was their issue!0 -
eBay sales done! After eBay and PayPal fees I have £106! (Still have to post things from this though!) straight on the cc!
Also found two jumpers under my dressing gown on my door, put them on and got offers of £50 already so really chuffed with that! Feeling positive today!0 -
Wow that is amazing!!!

Postage was just under £10, but I got my £15 paypal voucher so have paid off £110 on my CC. Really pleased as thats ahead of schedule as wasn't planning anything until February in terms of debt busting!
Cars great, back in gym schedule, all good!0 -
You've had a positive year so far. Great news about the car that's a real bonus.
Where were your clothes from to be getting that much - I want to sell clothes for that much, but I don't think a Primarni tshirt will cut it. Lol.
I've currently got a few baby clothes on but the fees I find to be so high, I'm sure they never used to be so bad.
Your fella sounds lovely and parents really caring, I totally understand you wanting to save. My parents are also the same, no debt and don't understand how I got as bad as I did, but they were ok.0
