Best Socks!

Hi,

Currently get socks for my partner from Primark. Whilst they are cheap they are not good value as they are so thin he has holes in his heels and toes in no time!

Where does everyone buy mens socks from? Most importantly why do womens heels and toes never seem to wear through!!! :rotfl:

If they are cotton socks you need to bless them first.

Ah socks, been meanign to ask the very same question. I used to get mine from M&S albeit a bit pricey but felt they were good quality, Ive also bought socks from Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda and for soem reason they have stopped selling teh size I buy (or I cant find them on display) and replaced it with a size that would be too big. Last pair I bought was from Next for £10 (think it was 5 pairs).

Tk maxx, but as always it is hit and miss. Bridgedales are about £5 a pair, which is better than half price. Not cheap, but excellent quality and they will last years, same can be said for Helly Hansen.

I wear men's Primark socks and they don't wear out fast. Maybe they're too small for him? When I wore women's socks they wore out in no time (they are always 4-7 and I'm a size 8)

Makro and Costco both do good socks. Costco ha a multipack of thermal socks which last for years and Makro do some really good winter socks too. For summer cotton socks, I've not been able to beat Marks and Spencers.
