    Morning All

JackieO I will be praying for you.

Had a interesting evening last night, ended up drinking with the neighbours. Head feels abit delicate this morning but nothing a couple of Paracetamol cant deal with. Really feel for my neighbour, they've just got straight money wise after years of struggling and now she thinks she'll have to give up work to care for her father.

Just waiting for the man to come and collect the Bumbo and then we need to go to town as DH needs new work shoes they have been repaired about 5 times and are now past the point where they can be glued again. Also want to get DD some T-shirts shes grown out of her ones from last year but not the shorts which at least means that I only have to buy half a outfit.

On the way home we will go via the big park to feed the ducks and let dd run off some energy.

    have a good day everyone

jackieO - My fingers are also crossed for your results. Positive vibes being sent too.

Penny Pincher - nice amount of swiping there! Shame we don't live near Bluewater!!!

Thankfully the sun looks like it's trying to peep through, having been raining earlier. I'm sitting on the sofa, with the laptop (well, DH's work laptop) on my lap....... No one has walked past recently. I'm such a nosey person! :D

Unfortunately, we have just had some news that I suppose we were expecting. :( Our new landlords (it was sold a couple of weeks ago) have just issued us with a "Section 21 Notice Requiring Possession". I'm a bit gutted, to be honest, but there's not much that we can actually do about it other than look for somewhere else to rent! We're not in a position to be able to buy at the mo, so we'll just have to bite the bullet! (as it were!) :(

Work has been quite busy and the children found out yesterday that I wouldn't be staying at that school in September. There were a couple of upset children and parents. It's nice to be appreciated! ;)

Anyway, I'd better go for now and have a shower! I'm sure you can smell me from your computers!

    Good morning everyone

JackieO (((hugs))) positive thinking is the way to go.
kyle glad the second op went well for LO.
    twink :hello: and (((hugs)))

Has anyone heard from Rage in Eden recently? I don't think she has posted since mid-May. Sent her a PM but no reply. Hope everything is ok.

Miserable morning here so I don't imagine that we will be doing too much outside today. Went out to check the plants only to find that one of the local cats seems to think my garden is a public loo. Will need to clean that mess up and then bleach the area (it's in a corner that is concrete) - unless anyone can suggest a less chemical way of removing trace smells. I don't want this to be a regular occurrence.

DS and DD want to see Shrek the Third today so that's this pm taken care of - just need to make sure that I visit the supermarket to stock up on the drinks and sweets.

Preston is having a Farmers Market in the centre of the city tomorrow so I will be going there. The last one had lots of stalls with free samples (if you get on your bike now Pen-Pin!! I'm sure you could be here in time to swoop. ;) ) I will be looking mainly at the fruit and veg though as I would like to start eating more local produce, which isn't the easiest thing to find at the supermarket.

    Have a super Saturday. xx

Afternoon (oops is it the afternoon already? :o)

Didn't get woken by neighbour's music this morning, which means one of the following: a) I was knackered and slept right through it, b) it's on some sophisticated timer that means it only comes on Monday-Friday, or c) he's switched it off. I do hope it's c)!

JackieO you're right to think positive, especially if it likely that it's just a complication of your osteoarthritis. ((((Hugs))))
    kyle, glad LO is OK.

Am going out this evening with a friend, I haven't seen her for several months and she is having a rough time at the moment due to long term illness/disability, so it will be nice to see her again.

Must get down to the market this afternoon too, for fresh fruit.

    Love Rzl xx

    Grrrrrrrrrrr!

Having a baaaaaaaaad morning and am yelling at everyone in a charlie-from-big-brother-stylee - GRRRRRRR!

Washing machine is broken and I always play laundry catch up at the weekend. It took me so long to find the policy that I have missed the engineers for the weekend and will have to wait till monday - I hope soemone comes then as it's my day off and I have noooooo leave left :(

I also have so much housework and decorating to do so dd decided to invite friend over for the night. Can't say no as we do owe her a sleepover or three but they wanted to sleep in the tent so that's not too much trouble but are now scared in case there's a storm and all the sheets are sodden in the bottom of the sodden machine - GRRRRRR! - and it's raining. The little girl turned up with Dad as I was growling down the phone at the repair people so he decided to take them off to a summer fete for an hour or two - bet he's wondering if I'm safe to leave his daughter with.

i love free samples - we sometimes go to Borough Market for a picnic - but without taking the picnic LOL. when she was eating meat dd used to take a cocktail stick from one of the stalls and go around lots of others making little sample kebabs - now that she's veggie there's not so much for her to choose so she doesn't bother.

have a better day than me :)
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

(((((Hugs)))))) Kyle & LO, Jackie0 - Mum's always put a brave face on to their kids" think of you. P-P too, feeling like pin cushion no doubt! and anyone else who'd like one

Well I went back to bed and after a few well aimed thumps in the direction of someones ribs, went back to sleep again, not to awaken until gone 8 am someone then brought me a coffee, so read until 9 am, then sorted out and soaked in the bath, just in time for the hairdressers.

Just back and had a sandwich, and now the Tennis is on at Eastbourne the Ladies Final, and as a Tennis nut, guess where I'll be for the afternoon.

    This pile is getting larger!!

Tea will depend on the weather, so far so good, and we may have a BBQ or else will cook inside. I have 1 chicken breast and some Lamb Chops in the chiller drawer, so will do something with them later.

Glad you had a good day out Amie

    Off to the Tennis
    DG

Just had a text from DS as I asked what his weather was like at Glasto, and got the reply by Wet, Muddy and Bl**dy Marvellous - Oh to be young!!

    Afternoon all,

JackieO, <<hugs>> I hope it all works out well for you, at least you are thinking positively.
Kyle, I'm glad the op went well and lo is recovering well.
Penny-Pincher, sorry to hear you've been feeling rough again.
tired mum, good luck with the decorating!
Aime, sounds like you had a great time yesterday.
stefejb, I hope your day gets better!

It's dull and overcast here today which is a shame because our town has it's annual air show this afternoon. Ds2 is very excited about it and has been up 'flying' his planes with accompanying noises since about 6am! :(

I've mainly been doing lists for the holiday and washing this morning...I really need to get myself into gear and start pulling some things together rather than just thinking about it!

    Take care everyone.

Good afternoon! I'm still plodding along with my dial-up:D It's connected at a whole 46.6kbps:rotfl: Still at least there's time to make a cup of tea between pages:rolleyes:

I've put washing out on the line although dirty black clouds keep passing over. Well at the moment they're passing over without dumping their contents, let's hope it stays that way!

JackieO sorry you've got all this worry, but you're absolutely right to keep as positive as possible. Fingers crossed and positive vibes winging their way to you:D

Now why are they never giving anything away when I'm at Bluewater?:p Oh I forgot, they were once, denture fixative!!! I might be falling to pieces, but my teeth are still my own so that was useless!! Well done Pen-Pin, that was some haul!

And that's the other problem with this snail's pace internet, someone 'phones and I lose the connection:mad:

Going to try to have a quick mosey around, check my e-mails and do the banking. (check out the order of my priorities:rotfl: ) Might be back on to broadband next weekend, fingers crossed. So if you could all cross all digits etc............

    Bye for now,

    Good Afternoon Everyone
JackieO - you're being very positive, am thinking positive thoughts for you too.
Stefejb - my sympathy - I'm in waiting for engineer to come to repair my WM at the moment. Door broke last w/e and this is first chance they could come.
DH is away on a training course today - I had hoped to go up to London to see DGrandaughter ( and her parents!) as this was my only free Saturday until the end of term.... Just hope he does turn up!
Need to read through the thread for the last few days as I've been too tired to check lately. Love and ((HUGS)) to all who need them.
