Can you provide a link to the tariff you're on where you only pay a standing charge of 12.88pence per day?

A standing charge of 12.88p is good.
Electricity kwh prices of 11.84-12.98p isn't too bad, if you can use a decent percentage of your usage during the free period, then savings could be made, but gas kwh prices of 3.99-4.26p would I suspect eat into those savings for some people.

ye i would think we are slightly below average for our gas.

I was offered free electric on a Saturday to switch to british gas but now after joining say that I'm not eligible for it..

I hope you will get best answer for best smart meter for your electric by online search. If you were told something else you may claim the seller

Im waiting for them to ring me back today with an answer. they offered £70 compensation last week but not sure if I should accept or take the complaint further.
