DVD Video Not Working On CD Drive

What I actually meant was that WMP cannot play DVD Video without the Codec supplied by PowerDVD. In other words, if you removed PowerDVD you would lose DVD Video functionality.
Of course you could use other Codecs in order to make WMP function, but if you are happy with the PowerDVD4 functionality, you can leave it so.
Does PowerDVD play music? WMP10/11 is much better for music.0 -
I should be closing this chapter but I do have another question partially related.
My DVD ROM program was working in my old corrupt pc, now it does not.
This is not a complaint as a similar program works with my CD-ROM and my all important DVD-video's are working on my pc.
Am I missing some special program needed to get my DVD ROM working to full functionality on my pc?
I can install it. It just refuses to run properly that's all.
This is not a moan on my behalf.
Just checking...

DVD video (I am guessing here) installed onto a computer in in Read Only format.
Not your average dvd video but one that can be run as thus.
I have one of these all in one driving test cd's.
Strange you haven't heard of DVD-ROM.
My only catchment is the program part which is something your less keeled pc user would interprete in many ways but mean only one thing to people like yourself.
