If the hotel try to cancel your booking(s) because of double booking at the same price on the same day, do they refund the money?0

manged to get £1,but dont want it anymore.(
seriously mate, why did you book it in the first place. there are plenty of people on this site who wanted to get one and cant get their hands on one because of people who are :
1) buying it when thehy dont want it, just to sell at a higher price
2) people who wanted to 'give' it to another person (ie same as the above)If i mange to get £1 room is it possible to give to anthoer person?(
3) people who knew that they dont want the room and went ahead to book anyway,Lol bz u can only book for one day, and thats kinda useless for oneday only
and to MSEr who are thinking of taking (buying) any promotional rate room, I think i read from the previous thread that rooms are not transferable, and you will need to have the credit card which u paid with when u r checking in.0 -
They just ask our name when we checked in - I had a copy of the email in my hand but I'm not sure if they really looked at it
We didn't have any extras though, so if whoever went wanted extras they'd have to give them a card with a different name on I guess
I'm sure someone on one of these threads said they managed to change the name on the booking? could be wrong0 -

You were told this before the day of the sale.
Is there something wrong with you?0 -
Well done to all those who managed to get the £1 rooms. to those who haven't been there before its lovely. I've managed to get the £1 room twice before & had a wonderful time both times. Those who have been know just how nice it is.
Wish I could ahve tried to get it again but my son was at school for a sort of taster day & he is more important than a cheap room althoughit was a close call.
hugs
HelenWe don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.
