Thanks guys, I was pretty damn proud of her!
:)
Have dutifully Tilly Tidied to op pot today. About another £220 to get in there and I think that'll be another month off the term.
Mr Delta's jsa will b stopping in the next couple of weeks so things will be a bit tighter but we will be okay. Once his college hours and placements are sorted he is going to try for some shifts in local care home which would be great work experience for him as well as financially helpful.Sealed Pot Challenge - No. 117

Spent £10 less than budgeted for this weekend (we had friends visiting) so have moved that to emergency fund. Also Tilly Tidied some odds to mortgage op pot.
We went to the Eden Project yesterday - really expensive but very good and we got a pass to go back for a year for no extra so not as horrendous. Plus Mr Delta was half price because of being on jsa so not too bad after all.

Well done on the C2%K. Have you heard of parkrun. It's a free 5K run every Saturday at 9am.
They have exploded here in Kent! You could incorporate one of your C25K runs into Saturday mornings...Target acheived: _party_ Mortgage offset in June 2012!_party_Mortgage = -£98Endowment = £0Investments = £40,247[STRIKE]Deficit[/STRIKE] / Surplus = £40,149(at 22/09/2017)"Don't spend then save, save then spend!"0 -
We went there a couple of years ago when on holiday. I thought it was great

Exactly - only about half an hour away and good for days out in bad weather as well so we will definitely make the most of the pass. And if we pack a picnic then a very bargainous day out!Sealed Pot Challenge - No. 117

I have just recently registered for Park Run! I've even splashed out on a plastic bardcode thingy. I'm going to do my first one the first weekend in September (when my friend is visiting so we can go to our first one together) and have planned some other Saturday morning trips to the nearest one in the calendar to make sure I do them. I love the idea of the times being logged (am a total geek at heart!). There are also some near friends and relatives that we go to visit for weekends so I might even get to be a Park Run tourist!Sealed Pot Challenge - No. 117

The bad news is that our weekend plans have fallen through (were supposed to be visiting some friends that we haven't seen for an age but they have been struck down with lurgies and now all wiped out the poor loves) BUT the good news is that I have moved the £30 we had budgeted for lunch out to the Emergency Fund which is now looking healthier than it has for a while.
And also....I just spent £40 on a voucher for a new salon that has opened near my office. Flash you may say BUT it is for 3 visits over the course of 6 months - a cut, then a colour, then another cut! I am going to be SO well groomed! I usually only go to the hairdresser about twice a year (and spend about £30 a pop for a cut) so am quite excited by this really!Sealed Pot Challenge - No. 117
